Hey, everyone!
This account has been very inactive for numerous reasons. First off, I've done very little in terms of fun creative writing projects. Most of my writing has been reserved for academic reasons. I am now a college student since I've last shared anything.
If anyone's curious about "Guardians", unfortunately, I have not touched the draft for the new version at all. It'll probably be awhile again before I do get back around to it. I apologize to anyone who was genuinely interested in that project.
Nowadays, most of my writing is theatre writing. Currently, I am going for a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre with a Playwriting Designation. I've written a good handful of small plays and scenes for my classes. I may begin to look at transferring some of them over here onto Wattpad as a collection. I don't have a reoccurring motif at the moment, so they are very all over the place. If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll look at doing that sooner.
Because of this change, I'm more focused now on a full-length play for the theatre. It's one that I'm interested in pursuing more than my old novel of "Guardians". This piece calls into question numerous topics, though heavily focusing on homophobia/LGBTQIA+ acceptance, life after college/living in modern-day America, and the relationships we build with people. I do not have a deadline for this, nor any estimated date of completion. Most likely, this will become a senior thesis project or will be continued with other classes. My hopes are to have it published or produced on the stage in an actual theatre. Unfortunately, due to the nature of plays, it wouldn't be wise to post an incomplete draft on here, especially one I have further goals for currently.
I apologize for nearly two years of radio silence on my end, but a lot of my drive as a writer has fizzled due to time constraints, personal dilemmas, and a need to work. I hope you all are doing well! Take care! x
