He watched from his spot next to the tree, his ghostly figure resting without anyone else being able to see him. He watched his friends run around, trying to distract themselves from the tragedy that was looming over their heads. He let out a small laugh once he saw wrestling among two. He watched a short haired blonde sit in the corner and try to think. He watched his light brown haired sibling blankly stare at open air, as if someone were supposed to be there. He watched as his sibling broke the news to a high schooler who just got out of classes. He watched as the entire school slowly started to notice his absence. He watched his cats pace around the house, looking for him because they don’t understand. He watched his brother go silent during the rest of his college year. He watched his parents sink into guilt. He watched his cousins as they went through their stages of grief, anger, denial and depression in the three of them. He watched the ceremony of people dressed in dark colors, laughing at how there were more people there then he ever met in his life. He watched as life continued, everyone finding something to fill the space he used to take up. He watched and waited, waited for them to fall asleep so he could visit each of them and give them the support they needed.
Posting my midnight cry paragraph here because I feel like it and I dunno, for some reason it makes me feel better sharing it cuz then it's not just on me.
