I love writing, and I can craft a coherent sentence and follow a story line, but I'm self-aware enough to know that I'm not going to make my living at it.

Favorite genres? Supernatural, Horror, SyFy, Fantasy and yes, even Romance if it's not too cheesy.

Favorite author? Stephen King. Master not just of horror but of internal character dialogue.
