Not-All-Heroes-Sing

                              "Regrets"
She sits in her room crying,
          Feeling her demons take control.
She takes out her long time Friend,
          And smiles a little.
Her tears stain her cheeks as red drips from her wrist,
Tho she's numb to the pain.
          She stares down,
          At her wrist,
Realizing the mistake she's made yet again,
          And feels even worse.
          The all too familiar feeling,
          Of regret slowly creeps in,
as she cries herself to sleep,
Hoping to forget this horrid nightmare.

                        "They Won't Stop"
          The demons in her mind,
Are driving her to a point where she can't take it anymore.
          They persist in controlling her.
          She's tried to drown them,
But they know how to swim,
Right back into her mind and thoughts.
          She can't think,
          She can't do anything.
          She's trapped,
          And it's Their fault.
Her demons are killing her slowly,
          And they know it.
          They won't stop,
Until they've known the job is done.

"She's Not Fine"
You ask her how she's doing and she says she's fine.
Then she smiles that pretty smile.
You ask why is she always wearing long sleeves,
          And she says its cold,
pulling at the ends of her sleeves.
          But she's not fine,
She desperately screams for help, tho no one hears her.
          Her smiles aren't real,
          They hide her pain.
          She isn't cold.
What she hides under those long sleeves,
          Are scars and cuts.
          She says she's fine,
          But she's not fine,
          And you know it.
