There is a part of the day when the world turns purple. 
Asphalt turns to colours.
The sky a field of lavender.
The red of poppies dimmed like a lamp and the rooftops shallow slopes of secrets. 
A point in time as a shaded hideout, a place to feel safe when the world keeps on spinning. When your head is too much and your mind is too loud and your heart wants to give in. 
These are the times when comfort is closest, a comfort I wish to pass on.
