I am getting the nostalgic urge to reread the end of my own Carl fic lmao

I finished my final edit of my ISTLGO story and all I want to do is cry. It’s a weird thing to be so proud of but this massive story had been such a constant in my life, a reflection of myself and my growth. It’s been years and I am still so proud of it and myself, so fond of the message and the characters. I haven’t watched TWD in years and yet I still love it to the bone, I wear merch proudly, and talk about my fanfic like it’s a classic. I hope everyone who had read it enjoyed Avery’s story and I hope that those in the future do as well, especially now that it’s edited completely. I love you all, thank you so much for the love back, happy reading.

Finally decided I’m going to edit the tense of my Carl Grimes story! It’s in present tense and as much as I love the story I can’t get over that I wrote the whole thing that way lol Gonna try and do it as fast as possible for those who are currently reading but it’s gunna be tough, so many chapters! Wish me luck

@Aspiring-Articulator one thing I find that really helps is writing out your characters morals and characteristics and wants, helps to remind you how they would react in a situation. Nice little brainstorm too :) But also writing an OC’s pov is always easier cuz you get to decide their personality

Lowkey questioning what POV I should write my fanfics in LOL. Like I like a mix of both third and first person, but only first if I truly feel I can capture the character’s personality if that makes sense haha
