The cruel Manor
Whether or not she enjoyed it, Twyla and others were stuck in an abandoned manor. While it looks abandoned on the outside inside was more alive. Still an old manor but with people inside.
Living there because of the worlds drastic change. Did she have parents? Did anyone? Were there creatures-or crazy monsters outside the manor gates? They weren’t allowed to ask or look. But lately missions were done to check it out. Now she and others were chosen but its not easy.
CHAPTER 1 “Night is closing,”
In the early mornings in October Twyla slept oddly nicely this time around. Curtains closed and the sun peeking in. Irene, her friend knocked on the door and asked: “Twyla? Let’s go its 5am we gotta move!” Busted! She slept longer than she should have. Most were awake at 4 or earlier. No time to sleep till 8. “Go away its 4…” she groaned. Her eyes slowly opened like she had just seen the world for the first time. The cold air eating on the window frost appearing yet it wasn’t November. Twyla put on her jacket, her clothes and walked down with Irene after she nagged. “We could be late, if it wasn’t for me.” She snorted. Twyla judged her fast dressing. Irene had misplaced socks; shoes slightly tangled (the rope) “Sure, with those- mismatched socks you really do want to be early!” Twyla smiled. Irene frantically looked down groaning at the mistake. The stairs down were easy, finding the room for the meeting wasn’t easy. Bumping into somebody, Irene apologized.
