Oh so random and I mean random but Dolly Parton died and this feels personal like I’m sad like she was true appalachian representation that this region needed and now shes gone  #gonetoosoon 😔

Everyone is leaving Wattpad to go on ao3 but I do fear I made that migration almost 4 years ago
          But ngl I think I might continue posting my stuff here bc I’m a terrible writer and ao3 comment sections scare me 
          I also mostly write original works and I feel like Wattpad is a better place for me to post my works
          I do 100% understand why people want to movie to other places like ao3 and Tumblr 
          But I do think some of things Wattpad is banning is good like banning anything that has to do with promotes hate 
          Also the people who are saying their banning smut as a whole isn’t actually reading the terms and conditions
          Wattpad is banning what you could consider smutshots which is when smut is the only plot of story
          But it can still be put in a story if its not the only plot and the story has other things in the story that could lead up to the smut 
          They are also banning anything with CSEM and illegal sex acts in it
          I do not have to go into detail about how externally weird you are if you enjoy reading stories with CSEM in it same thing with anything that has incest in it 
          
          Thats really it of what I have to say about the situation but also most of the things I said come straight from the guidelines in case anyones curious

I’m bored so imma rant about things people get wrong alot in fanfiction 
          
          So I know alot of stuff about the healthcare field and medical stuff so it makes me mad when someone gets that stuff wrong for example when someone writes about a stab wound and they take the knife or whatever it is out of the wound. That actually makes your chance of survival even lower than it is with the knife still if you and this goes for bullet wounds aswell. From the information I got from the classes I’ve taken so far the surgeon or whoever is working on person will take out whatever the object maybe that caused the wound.
          
          They also alot of times get better pregnancy wrong and I’ll give some to examples of that. When the character they write who is pregnant whats months to go the doctor. That has some major downside (and btw this might be different for other people this is just what I’ve been told)  but when you find out your pregnant you usually get put on medication that helps out with the baby’s growth and overall development and also the the mothers healths aswell. Sometimes they also show in fics a character finding out the gender at like 10 weeks when you can’t find out the gender till 14 weeks. The final thing for this part is they also show the baby kicking at 3-4 months when it way later till a baby is actually kicking.
          
          This part is going to be short but the way fic writers make hospital stays so short for very serious procedures and hospital stay really long for non-serious ones. For example getting knocked out depending on the severity of it you might be in the hospital maybe a day or two like i said depending on the severity of it because if you have a traumatic brain injury their going to keep you there for a while and if its a concussion they might keep you for a few days and send you home. Also if you get knocked out cold you definitely have a concussion and not going to spring right back up to join back in a fight.
