I fucking hate these "OC/Reader inspired by this character" in stories when there's no inspiration and it's just the character itself. Like, why even put OC/Reader in your story at that point? Literally, just put the character for fuck sake, it's not that hard! 

I'm probably gonna be hated after this but there's something I want to say about most of the DXD fanfic writers out there who insert themselves or put the readers into the story of the series. 
          
          No, Issei is not a rapist and how he's acting is very tameable compare to other perverts you haven't seen, he hasn't forced himself into another character that completely didn't give consent to it. You guys act like he's the worst as Femto Griffith and Makima combined, just because you see your fictional crush who getting intimate with him and its sorry as fuck. 
          
          This mischaracterization of the character is genuinely the most loser, sorry, and sack of shit behavior because y'all authors see him being circled around with a bunch of women. Genuinely, be better.

It's genuinely so fucking annoying when authors delete their stories that has interesting plot and iterations of the canon characters. Only for the author to delete the story because it doesn't have enough reads on it or votes, like, what's even the point?

One thing I've noticed MOST of the RIs and OCs in fanfics nowadays is that their choices don't seem to inflict a negative side of the story. Like, characters questioning their ideology and pointing out the flaws that the characters should have. 
          
          And this is what bothers me in Wattpad or any platform that creates stories in general, like AO3. Creators are afraid OR don't know how to create GENUINE conflict between their RIs and OCs to characters in the story that they put them in. Mostly, the characters just go by to the MC's decision and don't see any problem with it.
          
          I want the RIs and OCs to have flaws, to create mistake in their choices, this aspect is what makes the character alive and their choices ACTUALLY matters. I don't want an ass reason where their actions is completely 100% right and no mistake whatsoever. Hell, this should be applied to overpowered OCs/RIs too, it's like, their literally main saving aspect of their character. They should have weakness or a flaw that is a contrast to their character.

What the hell is with RWBY fanfics and their harem slop bro. I can't find any good stories of a reader insert or male OCs/characters without being bombarded with their terrible writing and the entire female cast on their dick.
          
          The entire shit I find is basically just how the story goes with only the addition character of the Author's reader insert/OC and the female cast acting OOC just to suck the RI/OC's dick. Even after all this years, kdog's fanfic still remains the top of all RWBY fanfics.
