Um... Anyone seen the finale yet? (Many spoilers ahead!) I don't even know where to begin!
These were 2 of the best episodes of the whole show, in my opinion. Apparently a lot of other people think so too, because Chinatown is rated a 9.6 on IMDB. That's the highest rating of all 26 episodes. I can see why. I'm really interested to see what they're going to do with Jessica now. That is, if the show gets renewed, it's on the bubble, AGAIN! I feel like she wasn't a wasted character, a distraction for Wyatt, she had a purpose in Rittenhouse. Rufus! Why?! NO! The thing that really confuses me is the ending. How are future Wyatt and Lucy there? There is 1 rule common in all time-travel related media: You cannot interact with past or future versions of yourself. You just can't! So, we'll see. I feel really bad for Wyatt. He couldn't have known that about Jessica. I would be glad if my loved one came back from the dead! Anyone would! But, he blames himself, and, in my opinion, he really shouldn't. OK! Wyatt told Lucy he loves her! And then he said Rufus would be proud, and I was crying. What about you guys? As much as I ship Wyatt and Lucy, I feel bad for Flynn. Not because I want them together, I don't. But, you can tell he likes Lucy, and I'm pretty sure it's completely one-sided. And I feel bad for him. Also, he genuinely tried to be nice to Wyatt when he told him congrats on being a dad, and Wyatt didn't say anything, and walked off! NO! That's not OK! I don't care how you feel about him, you have to be nice to people. The conversation between Agent Christopher and Conner where she was talking about family, and then the scene where Conner and Jiya are mourning Rufus, I thought, "His family is Jiya and Rufus. He is their father figure." That made me cry even more. I totally wasn't expecting Emma to kill Carol and Nicholas. There was a very audible gasp from me when that scene came.
Overall, 2 VERY good episodes. What did you guys think?
