Could you please tell me the eligibility criteria for Wattpad Originals?
'Cataract Of Delusion' is my first ongoing mystery/thriller book, which I've tried to write with a unique plot, twist, and cliffhanger in almost every chapter.
I would like to know how my story can become a Wattpad Original.
Kindly guide me on this matter.

Thank you for taking the time to answer, I submit my work for the wattys for ongoing, but I don't think I'll be able to complete it before submission closes, it's eligible for ongoing category so I submitted after completing the form.

@ShaneekaBarnett02 Hello, If you submitted your story as ongoing then you don't have to complete it before submission ends. Just try to update it once a week and you should be fine.

what if I write a serialized book (series) and first part of book consist of 20,000 words and the second part of same book consist of 40,000-50,000.
It's eligible for Watty award? Can I submit second part?

@NovaNicalynn So, does it mean the second book is eligible for Watty as my second book has a different story and can stand alone... but the title is the same ... so, can I submit it? BTW, thank you for your quick reply

@mahqtab6 Hello, Sequels are only accepted in English, and should be able to stand in its own if read separately from the first story. If your series are all written in the same story (not posted separately) then the judging team will read from the start and only judge the first story. But yes, the word count is enough for the second part if it is marked complete.
