So, it has effectively been a year since I've done anything with this account, but I'm glad to say it seems like the bugs that killed my drive to write are gone, so I may get back to writing here again. Will I update any of my stories? Probably not, as in the time of helping family and job hunting in my absence here, I've been fairly distant in the fandoms I love, and I don't feel the drive to continue those stories for now.

However, in that time as well, I've come to have created a more personal story, one that I hope to make a game of someday. A story that has been inspired by concepts of a few fandoms I love, and I wish to tell the story once I have the resources and skills necessary. For now, I can only tell it with words alone, as my artistic skills severely lack, and I don't know how to use any code engines.

For now, if you want to, feel free to check on this tale when it releases.

I've been wanting to write for a little bit now since I found some inspiration, but these bugs with the app have been infuriating to work with, and it's killing my drive. Maybe I'll try the website from now on until the bugs are patched, but I'll probably explore other fanfic sources like Ao3 or Fanfic.net, dunno if it'll be something like a site transfer, or expanding to another audience, bit one thing for sure is that I'm looking at more options that are safe to publish my works.

Just a casual update as to where I've been, why I haven't been updating stories, and whatnot. Since late summer last year, I've had a mostly full-time job, taking up lots of hours that could be spent on writing. Next is a sneaking suspicion I have about my health, mentally, I mean. I don't mean this as an insult or something negatively, but I might have PDD, Persistent Depressive Disorder, or high functioning depression in other words.

I did research on types of depression due to a sudden curiosity I had a while back when I came across PDD, and found that some of the symptoms/signs are similar to what I feel like on a day to day basis. It's not an official diagnosis, so I don't want to say I'm affected by depression, but I don't know whether I should see a psychiatrist or ignore it completely, since it could all be my mind wanting some explanation. Either way, I just haven't been inspired enough to write stories and haven't had the impulse to continue writing.

I'm not saying I'm stopping entirely, but I just don't have the time, nor inspiration, to write like I want to.

Aww.. inspiration comes from things that means a lot to you but I hope you get well.

Me on the other hand has been doing a lot other than part time jobs… I barely write stories but I do draw a lot and play piano and read… play games… all sorts of stuff without even sitting in one place

Okay, now that I'm looking at things through the website with my new laptop, I've just gotta know. According to the demographics for Black as Ashes, 33% of its readers are in the United Kingdom. Is Rwby more popular in the UK or something?

Nova_Umbris

I've recently blew basically my entire paycheck on getting a laptop. Do I regret it now? Nope. Will I regret it later on? It's possible.

For now, I might be able to get some personal stuff done like finishing drivers ed, doing fasfa, and possibly some small projects. It's likely I'll be able to be more creative on stories being able to look at multiple tabs at once, and not just swapping through them every time on mobile.

It may be the same for other mobile users, but writing while swapping between inspirations is draining, lemme say that much.

Hello, I just found your work. I am looking forward to it. Btw, do you have any social media that can be followed?

Nova_Umbris

@heythere1312
Thanks. I tend to stay away from any source of social media, so the only reliable way to follow me is here on Wattpad. Also, is there any work in particular that you like so far?

Just writing this as an announcement, but I have been busy as of late due to a job I recently applied for, so I have hardly been able to find inspiration and time to write my stories recently. But, I simply won't just give up on this account and stop writing, I still have so much on the backshelf and several unfinished stories to write.

And, speaking of stories, this is going to be a major change for my account. I want to separate from my place in the Lumine community. I don't trust the rumors that have been circling as of late, but even I can see even that the creator wants to separate himself from it too. It's not that I hate the several different communities of Gacha, but it's hard to be inspired to make content about it nowadays.

So, I will be unpublishing both Gacha books, don't know exactly when, but it will happen. I won't delete them outright, since they are a major part of my accounts upbringing, but I won't be working on them anytime soon.

Being aware of something generally brings in curiosity, which can either be good, or terribly bad. So, this might or might not change how I write, and may improve it, or make it worse, then again, I don't hold my writing in the best of regards.

Should I try adding text to speech on one or two of my stories, and if so, which ones? I don't know if anyone who follows me is visually impared or can't read well, so I'm taking the moment to actually reach out and ask.
