I didn't post a new chapter, I know.
          
          I was on a decent streak, and I'm surprised that I was consistent for THAT long. But unfortunately, duty called, and it essentially took away my entire week. I could barely edit my latest chapter, and completely missed Saturday. Currently working on it — alongside the rest of my previous chapters. A really good person decided to drop by and help carve my story up a bit, so thank her whenever you drop by in the multiple comments lol. But she really helped me out, so I will make sure that the work she put into my work will be worthwhile. Though I don't aim for perfection, I do want my stuff to be readable at the very least, so bare with me if I take my bittersweet time.

          This time, it's because of the contents of today's chapter. Honestly, I tried doing my best cutting the action a whole lots but ended up taking up a whole chapter, which sucks I guess. Not because I overdid it, but because not many Wattpad users are into this kind of thing, which sort of saddens me, y'know? Sure I have about 2 people TRULY enjoying and I'm eternally grateful, but seeing that it won't be enjoyed by the eyes of many, still hits me. But hey, you can't always please everyone.

          Rating 8.99/10. I really love the world's dynamics, with all the usual higher-powers-treat-their-people-like-actual-garbage-politics. Before I never realised how good they can work in stories (especially fantasies), and how better they become when you have a main character whose hate for the system throbs with even the sight of royal guards. And that's what this work of art is about, with more to it of course. A cozy read to pass the time with a touch of humour in every chapter to keep you hooked. Be sure to check it out!

A new chapter's out!
          Thought I'd include some more action in this particular chapter (I've been pushing the scene back a little too much now). Reason why? I've read action-fantasies — and the way I wanted to write my action scene, were two completely different things. Until I realised that what I did was dumb: I was writing with 'preconceptions' and 'rules' on how to write specific genres. The no.1 mistake literally a writer could do. So I cleared my mind, and wrote to my heart's content, so I hope you enjoy! (Do tell if you enjoyed or not, been looking for some serious critique.)

          Honestly, would rate this a solid 9.2/10. If you're a hardcore sci-fi lover, or if you're looking for an enjoyable read to pass the time WHILE ALSO having the time of your life, then this is the one. The impeccable world-building, attention to detail, thrilling action scenes all the way down to the characters — it ticks all the boxes. Anyways, what is up with this plague of bots claiming to be digital artists who promise to "bring your characters to life", that ALWAYS infest my comments? I didn't have a problem at first, but seeing like 6 accounts being the first comments you see, instead of real people, can be quite discouraging.

          Been enjoying the books I've been reading here, as well as writing. It's been a good week. To the point where I thought about publishing a second story as well, lol. But that would be too much work though.
          I was inspired by this cool writer, whose work I really like, where they posted a bonus chapter. Might just do the same if I work really hard (or see a whole lot of readers enjoying the story), but for now, that's an idea for a special Saturday down the line.

I hate fantasy.
          
          Hot take, I know.
          I'm just kidding, lol. Though, I did find fantasy rather . . . unique way back when. A little too unique for my liking. Perhaps it was my love for those over explained, convoluted explanations behind why a car can hover in sci-fi stories that made me kind of dislike fantasy. Because from the fantasies I've read, kind of flew over why waving a wand could turn someone into a frog alongside unnecessary Kings-and-servant politics. Now that I've tried opening up to writing literally any genre (except romance), I've now seen why posting the first line of this post would have someone fuming. Writing fantasy is a blast! And I hope you have a blast reading it as well. As a writer who adores sci-fi, I'm curious to see if I wrote fantasy "well". I struggled with the dialogue and world-building, because it was really something I've never tried before, but I do hope it didn't ruin the experience. Enough rambling, lol. Enjoy!

I promise that I'll ACTUALLY finish a whole, completed story. Though, I can't promise you consistency, unfortunately. 
          All of that aside, there will probably be grammatical errors, funky pacing and plot inconsistencies, but all in all, I just want you to have as much fun as I did writing this, I guess :)
