@NovellaNovel I was actually just getting back into the PJO Fandom re-reading the books for the hundredth time and such, and was actually thinking about my favorite parody Percy Jackson book when this notification popped up when I tried to look at the book for nostalgia's sake.
I'm sorry to hear about your mental health, I hope it gets better in the near future.
I think that personally, to me when I make a chapter of two and see the comments on stuff I write, for the most part they're really fun to read, even if it's just a lol. I think that part of that could be all the effort that's put into the writing you do to make it not terrible, and knowing someone enjoyed that is good enough for me, though getting there is often difficult.
I don't think anyone really wants to write, per say, instead we want to think about what will happen and have it magically appear onto the screen, instead of constantly thinking about good words to use, or if what I write makes sense, or even if I have too many commas in a sentence.
It's really difficult to get back into writing it you've been gone for a long time, "how do I start? How do I send? WHY CAN'T I DESCRIBE THIS VERY SPECIFIC FACIAL EXPRESSION WELL?" But no matter if you continue to update your books, or just decide to update messages instead, I'll still be around, and read back on your work. After all, there's no power greater than nostalgia, I still remember some very specific things in the What Not To Do In PJO FF, it's stuck to me, like grease in my hair, and influenced me to become a better writer, not just in PJO fanfics, but just in general.
Anywho, sorry for rambling for a long time. You're a great writer from what I can tell, and I hope that you stay hydrated, fed, and sheltered. :D
