I love Twenty Øne Piløts, and saw them in concert 2/25/17, and it was a truly amazing thing.
"Hey listen, I want you to know, I mean it when I say, I wouldn't be up on this stage if it weren't for my friend, Josh Dun on the drums. Give it up for this dude! It's not enough! JOSH DUN ON THE DRUMS, GIVE IT UP! Now it's good when he claps for himself, man, is good. Killed it. You know, I want you to know that if you would have us back, we would absolutely love to come back to here sometime. We haven't really played here much, but for some reason, man, it just feels so much like home, and I wish this show just wouldn't end. *unintelligible words* I tried, we tried our hardest, but in the upper deck, all the way at the top, did you guys feel it tonight? You guys good up there? You guys brought it, I could feel the energy in this center bowl, all the way around in the seated section, did you guys feel it tonight? Did you guys? You brought it. The energy source comes from my people down here in the pit, you guys did such a great job tonight. So if we come back around, you should have us back because maybe we'll have a new show, new music, new things to sing. I gotta go back and work on all that, man, but I want you to know, whether all of a sudden it's being thrust into the mainstream media, or  all of a sudden being on radio stations, or all of a sudden being in front of many critics, I want you to know that when I go back, and I work on new music, I'm not gonna be thinking of any of that, I'm just gonna be thinking of you guys, ok? But until then, I know, where you stand, silent, in the trees..."
