I totally just love getting a pen thrown at my eye (leaving a bruise) for no reason then the next day I get called a bitch, a dog, get barked at then I get punched in the temple leaving a cut and most likely another bruise on my other eye. And the person doing this is none other than my own brother over me (obviously) joking and saying that he kisses men after trying to ask if he'd been kissing women and accidentally saying men then recording him calling me a bitch. Not to mention I got it all on video and my mom just said that I "wouldn't press charges on my own brother, so just delete it" uhm fuck you I'm not deleting shit and I am kinda considering calling the cops cause this is a recurring thing that he's done to both me and my 3 year old brother

@Acai400 yeah, he's definitely chilled out, he goes through these phases and nobody but me really know how to help him and he doesn't listen to me especially when hes in a phase. I'm not gonna call them now but I still have the videos so if he hits me or my baby brother again I'll try to talk to him but if that doesn't work then I might have to call

Chat... Why does my father genuinely believe that ai "art" is real art??? Art is the creation of something as a form of expression usually without explicit words in the art, it can be anything that is created by something or more specifically someone that feels emotion, so physical, digital, sculpting, music ECT is art, but since as far as we know AI doesn't have true emotions it isn't art. Like art is beautiful not just because we think it looks pretty (even though a lot of it does) art is beautiful because we can see the effort the artist put into it, we believe we can see their dreams, their personalities, their emotions, their trauma, we believe we can get a good read on someone just by looking at their art but you don't see that with AI art because it's just following a prompt and that prompt didn't need emotion, it didn't need effort all it needed was for someone to type a couple words that they pulled straight out of their ass and put them in a certain order that the AI can use to create some bullshit in a couple minutes at most. Not only does AI art not fit the already very loose criteria for being considered true art, it is very dangerous, I mean if someone has your face and or your body (clothed or not) they can then use that to make nudes of you that can sometimes look scary accurate and that you didn't consent to having out there. So we started a new school today cause the other one wasn't set up for highschool and there was a lot of drama (if you want to know, I'll spill) and i have the same teacher for biology and world history (he's also the special needs teacher) and the second I walk in just WEED, MARIJUANA the smell is so strong, I tell this dude who has come and talked to my friend and I and he said that the teacher smokes weed and that none of the staff know AND he apparently has a secret stash in his classroom. He's chill asf though and he said that we'd just be doing like a small packet a day and a quiz when it's needed and I don't mind the smell of marijuana so I'm just gonna leave it be

My friend is one of those people who say " oh but like separate the art from the artist" but no, you can't separate it from the artist because they are the ones who made it, if it's music (especially if they are on stage or you hear the in the song) they are there, but even if that wasn't important, if they're still alive then they make a profit when you go to their concert, buy their merch, listen to their music, ECT which means you are basically paying a murderer, rapist, abuser, whatever they did, they benefit from it. Idk this is my opinion and you can have different opinions that I won't fuss at you for (I didn't say anything about it to her because, while we are the same age, she's 15 so it's not like her opinions are solid and I don't think that my input would be helpful especially in this situation because she is going to a concert). @LisforLooser exactly like for example, if someone were to pirate Harry Potter, yes J.K Rowling doesn't profit from you watching the movies based off her books, but you can still see some of her opinions and some shitty parts of her personality like the fact that she has one of if not the only Chinese character(s) is named Cho Chang (I haven't watched the movies, this is based off of what someone else said) which is kinda obviously based off the stereotype that the Chinese language sounds like a bunch of chings and other sounds like that which. So like you said if you pirate it, the artist doesn't profit from it but also like you said, you have to be careful how much of that artists opinions you are consuming because they put it in their art.

            The only way to "seperate the art from the artist" is to not interact in any way that they could get money (so you have to pirate which isn't even that hard, there's a reddit page dedicated to pirating shit) and even then there's the issue of, how much of their art is entangled with themes of what they did because how are you going to seperate the art from the artist if the art is just proof of what they did.
            
            idk, i think, if done right, it's possible to seperate the art from the artist but there's  so many variables to it that it's easier to just not to try to interact with anything they made.
            
            I imagine your friend will come to a realisation about what seperating the art from the artist actually means, it's like a canon event for a percentage of the population to say they're seperating the art from the artist but not actually understanding what that entails and then realising at some point that they've been doing it wrong

I didn't realize you could love someone this much, not until I met her. God, I'd do anything just for an ounce of her love, it doesn't matter who I'm with in the future, where I am, how much money I'm making, none of it matters cause if she said she'd love me romantically for even a second, I'd be there in a heartbeat. I'd let her kill me with her bare hands in the most barbaric, brutal, violent way possible and with every collision of her skin to mine I'd feel the love, and I'd be so happy, the pain wouldn't even matter because all I'd be able to feel is love. She once said that pouring wax on someone is hot, idk if that meant she'd like for it to be poured on her or if she'd like to do the pouring, but if it was her she wanted the wax on, Id break my pact to myself for only this and hurt her by pouring the wax on her, but God, if she wants to do the pouring, id let her cover me in it and as if fills each and every crevasse on my body inside and out as long as there was even the slightest bit of love behind her actions, I'd be fulfilled. I feel physical pain and anguish when I'm not around her, it's the worst pain I've ever had to suffer through. And the worst part of it all, is that she doesn't love me back, so I have to live the rest of my pathetic life knowing that I love this masterpiece of a woman and that she only thinks of me as a friend.

So, among many other things that are outright awful, trump not only causes a government shutdown AGAIN (there was one, the longest one on record, that was 35 days long during his first presidency), but now he has admitted that HIS administration is taking away freedom of speach, two things which anyone should be upset about no matter the party. Like yes I believe in freedom of speach until you say something offensive or harmful but taking it away because people were burning the American flag is crazy (actions like burning flags, and peaceful protest are protected under freedom of speach laws)

@LisforLooser Exactly also I feel like people who identify as women should be given a better chance cause so much of science proves that women are better in positions of power especially biological women cause of the natural evelutionary thing that makes women handle pressure better due to so many biological women giving birth so their bodies had to find a way to handle it

            All the world leaders kind of act like toddlers who are showing off their toys but instead of it being a dinosaur it's their power, wealth, weapons, materials, etc. Like show and tell and they're so focused on THAT and not their citizens.
            
            Ironically, I think that younger people could be better world leaders and act more sensible than most of the people currently in power in most countries (old people who act like children) and not only because they're more knowledgable with what younger generations actually want.
