I hope everyone is doing good!
Sorry for the long delay, I promise I’m writing the next chapter when I can. The last section of a story is always a little difficult to write because of all the loose ends that need to be tied up— that, and I’m a horrible perfectionist haha.
          	Happy spring!

I read, "the last section" and freaked out prematurely, whoops lol.
Thanks for the character details, I needed some of the extra details for a project I am doing. I have no idea what Isamu's 1920's Japanese hairstyle looks like but I am trying. Thank you for giving the descriptions.
Yeah I also didn't know anything about Attu as well, I was more interested in the Pacific part of the war. I didn't know there was a frozen tundra one first. Thank you for introducing me to it. Now I know why it was labeled the forgotten front, when I was doing research for the Pacific jungle one I never saw it brought up.

There are two more chapters lol! And your comments weren’t bothersome at all, they gave me a lot of motivation! It’s such a niche and random topic for a story, but It’s been fun researching and trying to make believable characters. I had no idea how the American or Japanese military systems worked until I wrote this story, and it was interesting to think from the perspectives of both. I read papers from either country on the Battle of Attu while I was trying to get a feel for the timeline. It’s fascinating how the different cultural outlooks of the two sides translated into their views of the battle, although at the core their human experiences remained largely the same.

I think I described them in the first few chapters, but Maurice has curly brown hair, hazel eyes, and a hooked nose, while Isamu has straight black hair, brown eyes, and a wide nose. Outfit-wise, both have coats, although Isamu has a fur cap. No idea what the Gucci was in 1943, but I think the fits check out lmao

Seriously though, I went through the seven stages of grief in the last five seconds of reading this, I am so sad it's gonna be over.

I really enjoy reading about Isamu and Maurice, I love them so much!

I hope I wasn't too bothersome to you for these past 8 months.

☃️ I hope everyone is having a warm and happy wintertime! I’m probably not going to be very active because I’ve been busier than a you know what, but, when I can, I’m going to try rewriting a portion of the last chapter to make better sense plot-wise. I’m hoping to read more of everyone’s stories when I can, too!

          ️ Happy Holidays!! ❄️

Hi! I was just wondering if you’d be willing to read my story “bully me not”? It would mean so much to me if you’re able to check it out :)

Hi, thank you for the follow; I hope you'll enjoy the rest of my stories & other works as much as I love writing them! All I ask is that you respect the do's & don'ts in my bio (read them before reading any more of my stories/works) and the specific rules in my books, too, of course. <3
