Boy, do I feel miserable for taking the time off from writing and not tell anyone. These past seven months have been eventful and quiet; most days, I feel like taking a long walk and forget about the hurt that is weighing me down. Other times, I feel like screaming into the void till I don't have a voice.
Honestly, I feel like I'm stuck in the past while everyone else gets to move forward in life—don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them, but I envy. My house is quiet without some form of noise, I try to make-up for it by playing music, reading, watching social media etc. Again, it doesn't fill the quiet without HER around. What I wouldn't give to hold her hand, sit next to her and laugh like I used to, listen to her childhood stories and when she was a teenager before meeting my dad. There were times I couldn't stand her, and she'd get annoyed with me. In the end, I forgave her—not because she was soft-hearted; she was strong-headed, determined, and will curse up a storm to anyone in Creole the second something isn't right.
She was my backbone and she thought the world of me and my older siblings when she was at her lowest; we pushed her to be a great parent that me and my older siblings knew, and a doting grandmother who wanted her grandchildren to have the best.

@Nuraya_Rayne If there was one thing that she taught me early; it is to cherish and appreciate the moment you have with family and close friends, you never know when you'll see them again. She was the only person who made me who I am today, a humble person who sometimes fumbles with their own lies—which, rest assured, I know what the consequences will be that'll potentially follow—sometimes, if willing and able, curse up a storm. Just like her. And lastly, she has taught me to be forgiving. . . . If you're on Wattpad and this appears, or if you just logged in? Thank you for reading this. I have been going through a lot with coping loss, and as much I want to reach out to some friends and family, I'd rather not take up their time with my own when they have their own lives to live.
