So I finally decided to share a little bit about myself.
I'm a lifelong bibliophile in my early 30s. But I still get mistaken for a teenager which seems like a great thing unless I am working as a high school teacher. I love reading so much that I would spend my last dollar on a book instead of on something like food or paying back my student loans.
I'm lucky to have inherited my love of books from both of my parents. My dad is a retired high school teacher (38 years) and is now working as a substitute teacher in the same school he taught in for almost 40 years. He gave me my love of learning, history and mythology. My mom worked for AT&T for almost 30 years and gifted me with my love for talking. She never met a stranger.
I also have a little brother who is almost a foot taller than me. He keeps me updated on all of the new sci-fi and super hero movies. I'm also the sometimes not so proud mother of a 10 year old Bichon. (The ones who look like a poodle with an Afro. I should never have named him after my Pappaw. I was just asking for trouble!
My favorite food groups are chocolate and Diet Mountain Dew. I love Disney Junior and trutv. I have not been able to watch any scripted tv shows since McDreamy died. Anyway, I think that's enough about me for now.
