Hey all! What, didn't know I was here? Honestly, I don't blame you.
I've been pretty underground for the past few...years...after beginning a story of mine that brought me here, MASK, creating and promptly deleting a one-shot, and roleplaying once? Twice, if I'm generous?
This doesn't mean that I'm 'going regular' on writing because in all aspects of my life I am slow in everything I do - that won't happen. Honestly, I would've done more for at least this one story that I mustered up the courage to publish on here, but I did the one thing that you don't do online with a bunch of teens which is second-guessing how crazy my story will be. I suppose I'm worried that I won't continue the correct way because the logic I have in this budding universe involves real life hermits being given additional emotion.
Yeah, you can tell where this is going.
I've seen a story that tried something similar to this, focusing on something outside the digital world, and while it started as a great story, it lost me at the blatant shipping of real-life hermits. There's no shipping in my universe other than fan-servicing phrases or actions, but my stories will still alter the personalities of hermits when staging them in a 'real world' like ours with rules and physics while crossing over with a hyper-realized 'fake reality.'
If that sounds exciting, well, thanks! I'm glad you're interested! If you like it, I'll go on with my plans and write as I wish. But if even one part of this is concerning, please tell me about it before I write. If the whole thing sounds off, that's ok! I just want to know whether, as a community, you think that this can pass or whether I should change it. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
