@charookie like it bothered him how trig's men were handling flora so he told trig to kill them (there we also saw how Enzo didn't take people doubting him lightly) but, he denied it by blaming it on Flora's recklessness (again it felt like zookah hinted at flo acting reckless might have caused their fallout..)
            
            In the chapter to tell a lie, Enzo wanted her to stand up for herself however instead of saying it he egged her on to fight him which gave us the tension, flora knowing about his dislocated shoulder ( how him never getting it treated shows how he hates being vulnerable) then how he noticed every detail about her to know when she is lying which flora sees as him seeing her flaws & does it her uncomfortable. Then her lying to Pippa about him wanted to have dinner with her was so genius of @bazookah I was giggling when Flora held Enzo's hand to stop him from telling pippa off then Flo walking off like a diva was just *chefs kiss.
            
            Then the next chapter beautifully shows Enzo's pov of how Enzo engraved every detail about her in this mind to have it on repeat(also the hint at him taking cold showers) and like you said he was in denial of his feelings not even letting himself complete his sentence about Flora in his mind then yet he stepped in to save her from Porter and went after her in the forest.
            
            Also he was mean to her throughout all this the "if you pass out I'm leaving you here" but then stitches her wound & he was still sassy in the next chap too. Good it was all so perfect the way bazookah has it going originally, people fucked it up asking for smut this soon IN A SLOW BURN !! SAYING ENZO IS IRREDEEMABLE WHEN THIS IS A ENEMIES TO LOVERS!!

@NyannyanrawrXd i made a post on this on zookahs board!! the readers are asking for too much. even the strategic kiss was in line but with this chapter, the only real issue was enzo admitting to himself that hes attracted to her. he could have done everything he did and still be in denial, even with the cute scene at the end. i love seeing old enzo crack through but like it’s too early for all of the hate and denial and resentment to vanish completely. a gradual change would make more sense, and he can still continue to look out for her throughout that. 
            
            i wished flora continued to fight and i want her to snap back in too! i think the last snippet of her and enzo talking about them not being friends anymore acted as a trigger to her, but baby lock innn. imo i didn’t mind how things were moving. it’s just enzo’s acceptance and floras lack of locking in (which we all need to see soon) that’s so *sigh moment* to me, and the fact that everyone’s asking for smut when floras barely improved.
