Hey everybody, this is just a teaser for you. The real chapters will come in by next Sunday or Monday, wait… wait… wait… Actually I will have the whole book done by Sunday or Monday so please tell your friends, if they like these kinds of books! And if this story does good; I will add more chapters. I plan on doing 6+ chapters but I just might change my mind and do more for you guys!  Anyways, enjoy!
          
          Chapter 1: Nightmares
          
          
          I jump in fright as I heard the glass shatter against the ground; I slowly turn around, wanting to look at the window that had just shattered and to see what broke it.
          I was so scared of what it might be but I fought hard against my fear and pushed it down as I turned around fully to see what had made the noise. I squinted my eyes to try and get a better look at what seems to be a man and a woman but I can’t see their faces very well because of the black hoodies they are wearing.
          It was weird that they couldn’t see me, but I held on to my luck and watch in complete silence as they sneaked over and into what I think is a girl’s closet, they start tearing every piece of clothing get can get their hands on. And when there was not a single piece of clothing left on the rack, there was a golden know that no one and not even a mouse would see if the clothes were still there.
          The man and woman slowly started to open the door, revealing a silver ring with a beautiful bright red ruby on top of the glass case. I starred at it in awe, the beauty of it would make any living person go on overdrive. 
          I was shaken out of my thoughts when I heard a bang and an evil laugh, I turned around to face the man slowly taking the ring off of its cushion pillow and putting it onto his hand.
          Once the ring was on his finger, there was a sudden burst of light going around the thief and his appearance changed, no longer a red cloak around him but a royal robe with a crown on top of his head and it shined almost brighter than the sun.

I woke up in my bed, panting with cold sweat covering every inch of my body. I’ve been having these dreams for a while but I never get to finish it, but I didn’t care anymore. All I was thinking is the dream where I was taken away from my family; would that really happen?
            But the question that haunted me most was why would someone take me? I got out of bed and ran down the stairs and into the kitchen to find my mum cooking breakfast. U walked up beside her,
            “Good morning Destiny, how did you sleep? She asked kindly.
            “Um, fine... but can I ask you something?” I asked, debating within myself If I should still do this.
            My mother turn to me and gave me a quick smile, “Anything, honey.”
            “You’re not my real mom, are you?” I said softly as tears begin to well up in my eyes.
            “Yes, of course I am your mother. Where would you get that idea from, honey?” she said, her voice louder near the end.
            “You’re lying!” I shout, making my voice reach her level.
            Not seconds after I yelled, my so called dad came running into the kitchen. “What’s all this commotion about?” I glanced down at his hand to see the silver ruby ring wrapped around his finger.
            Realizing the dream wasn’t a nightmare, but a memory. I looked into his eyes as I state in barely a whisper. “You kidnapped m-me.”
            Once those words left my mouth, the man I used to call father; walked up to me until my back was against the wall, I could smell his minty breath. “Look who found out the truth.” He smiled evilly at me and raised his fist into the air.
            That’s all I could remember before I was consumed by the darkness.
            
            A/N
            So that is chapter 1 and I know it is pretty short but that’s all I got time for right now because you know Halloween is coming up and I had a math test today so yeah, but I promise next chapter will be longer! Oh and since we are on the topic of Halloween, I am going to be a nerd! What are you guys going to be?

There was a little cry heard from across the room and I knew it was coming from the crib, the man slowly started to make his way over to the crib while the woman watched quietly while smiling evilly. I continued to watch as he took bigger steps over to the crib and I started to panic.
            “Stop! What are you doing?” I yelled but to my surprise, they hadn’t even spared me a glance. I walked up to the man and tried to push him away but my hands went right through him like I was made of air. Was I dead? I looked down at my hands and they look almost transparent, so I start to panic.
            When? How? And who? Who would do thi-
            I was so caught up in my own world that I didn’t notice when the alarm went off, I rushed to the crib and saw that the baby was missing, but one thing caught my mind, the name on the blanket said ‘Destiny’
