          is vanessa vanny?? is it canon?? to me, and this verse of vanny, it is. i’ve also heard all of the tapes/cds and will be basing more of her bg off of those. when more things are found out, i’ll change accordingly :)) 
          at first, obviously, vanessa doesn’t WANT to hurt others. she tried her hardest to fight william’s/glitchtrap’s control but eventually she lost, and her mind was subdued by him. she becomes obsessive whenever she’s “vanny,” very childlike to appear to children. the more afton has his control over her, the more she starts to act like him(ie the fact that she hates sunlight and prefers dark rooms), etc.
          i’m not too sure if i will make vanessa an afton yet, because for now it’s a theory and i personally wanna do more digging into it before i decide. but it’s a cool possibility! for now, any aftons vanessa interacts with (besides william) will be the same as strangers
          all for now i am brain ded
