Mid 50's, Married, and a facilities manager for a small education center for Birds of Prey in western Oregon. Animal Lover and Owned by Several, including Ferrets. I have always wanted to write and tell stories but never got the real motivation or guts until this last year. I like to keep things short and fun to be a highlight in someone's day. 
     All the animals used in my stories and fake interviews are real, and I don't bother changing names as none are innocent. :) For the counterfeit interviews, all pictures are used with the pet owner's permission, and most of the info is supplied by the owners and modified by me, although I keep it factually accurate.
     I am a novice with no formal training and looking for critique so I can improve and grow. I have several stories I plan to write for younger people, ages 8-13 or so. Any advice is welcome, and even though I can get my feelings hurt as much as the next person, I look forward to any feedback. 
     If nothing more, I hope you at least get a chuckle out of my work, and I look forward to getting more material published Bi-0weekly.
