I think I just entered the watty awards lol.

Nope, dove into the rabbit hole. I just found out some really shady stuff, y’all. And it’s not motivating me at all. No wonder nobody’s reading. Lol. It’s not the books. It’s not your writing. It’s not you. Do better for yourselves.

I write LGBTQ+ stories where queer characters get the full cinematic treatment: romance, danger, wealth, betrayal, legal warfare, family mess, emotional damage, gorgeous outfits, and occasionally someone bleeding on very expensive furniture because drama has taste.

One of my current stories follows two men in a dark contract romance where the power dynamic keeps shifting. It starts with ownership on paper, but emotionally, the person who was “bought” may be the only one strong enough to dismantle the man who bought him.

For LGBTQ+ readers and writers, what do you want to see more of in queer romance? Softer domestic moments, morally gray leads, big dramatic plots, messy power couples, or stories where queerness is present without being the only conflict?

THE 366TH DAY: EPISODE TWO
THE GILDED CAGE goes live in 30 minutes.

Ren Ishida thought the contract was the worst thing Kaito Vane could put in front of him.

          He was wrong.

Episode Two steps inside the house, the rules, the money, the surveillance, and the kind of luxury that still knows how to lock a door from the outside.

          A cage can be velvet.
A prison can have marble floors.
And Ren is about to learn exactly what Kaito bought.

          The Gilded Cage arrives soon.

OMNIVOIDLEGACYLTD

I’m genuinely considering dropping all three books.

They’re complete. They’re done. They’re canon-locked. At this point, they are not drafts hiding in a folder and pretending to be mysterious. They are full stories, fully built, and ready to be read.

The only question is whether I release them gradually or just let all three out into the wild and hope the algorithm doesn’t immediately start coughing blood.

Together, they are easily around 900K words.

THE 366TH DAY took me almost a year to finish. It is modern, sharp, forward-focused, and built around contract romance, power, debt, danger, and two men who should absolutely know better.

MAKING MR. BLACK is the oldest of the three. That story is almost ten years old, and Sebastian and River are basically the foundation stones of the Nexverse Prime canon. They were the blueprint before the blueprint had a name.

THE NEW CROWN is the newest development so far. It is noir, legal, political, messy, dramatic, and honestly, I treat it like a TV show written in novel prose. Don’t ask me to explain that. It makes sense in my head, which is where most of the crimes begin.

All three are connected through Nexverse Prime, but they each stand on their own. Different romances, different power structures, different kinds of danger, same larger universe moving underneath them.

          So now I’m debating.

Do I drop all three completely, or do I release them in a more controlled way and let each one breathe?
