I read that you like paranormal and horror and well, my story won't go into horror themes that's for sure (this is my first story and I don't want my characters to suffer too much), but there definitely will be fantasy and adventure :) I hope you liked it enough to go on with the next chapters (if not, well, I'll just have to improve myself!).

Well if you have the time and if you wish to, I'll gladly take constructive criticism, it's helped me before, and I'm sure it could help me again (my chapters have titles now because a nice person suggested I put them, they were right!)
Ahah, I'm in this phase yes, but the thing is actually planned in my head? I just have to write it now and add bits and pieces :)
@Sunnightmist No problem. Thanks for sharing your work. I'm just reading through the first bits of the other entries for the fantasy section of the Earnesty Contest. The contrast jumped out at me, so I thought I'd share that I enjoyed it. NOt all good stories need horror elements or a ton of character suffering, so feel no pressure to add these to your work. I may read more depending on time. If I do, would you enjoy some constructive criticism? I get that you may still be in the 'just get the thing written' and may not want feedback yet. So no pressure. Anyways, thanks again for sharing your work. And good luck with the contest.

I like your rationale for picking a scallop as your animal. It got me thinking about my own, and I gotta be honest, I think I'd be a sloth. Slow moving, tires easily, and occasionally falls out of trees after mistaking my own arms for tree branches? Check, check, and check! :p
