          Obahar_ is currently “on break” (don’t worry, I left a note), so I’ve graciously taken over for a bit. You may notice a few minor changes:
          
          - The fox logo? I'm afraid it was possessed so I had to replace it whilst I perform a few rituals to cleanse it.
          
          - The banner? Stamped. Repeatedly.
          
          I also peeked at the draft for the next chapter of A Morbid Curiosity. Good progress, yes — but Obahar_ has been a total slacker! Don’t worry, I’ll haunt him until he finishes it. How long can he make me wait before I get to float up the aisle and say “I boo!” in this mythical wedding chapter he keeps promising?

Today is the last day of my holiday to WDW.
          Will be back home late tomorrow. I'll then play through the new Lantern Rite quests and see if any of it is usable for the Hu Tao chapter this month.
          
          Furina's chapter did release later than originally planned. But whilst I did nothing for her birthday, her chapter released on mine!
          
          Please excuse the shortness of the chapter. I was too busy at Magic Kingdom!

Hey all, if you didn't see, I posted a new chapter to the SAO book. And it's a big one, 40k+ words, with an estimated 3 hour read time!
          
          I've decided for this new year I want to focus on getting some of my books finished off, as I have too many open and I think that having too much choice/on my plate might be playing into what's causing me to struggle to upload as often as I would like.
          
          I've decided, going forward, I want to put my head down and focus on one book at a time. And I'll start with the Hu Tao book, which I plan to do in February, because I assume we'll have some more Lantern Rite content I can use.
          
          But, for January I'm just gonna do a single chapter, as I have an upcoming holiday I wanna prepare for and want to slowly wean myself back into writing often again.
          
          Please can I have you guys put your vote in for what you'd prefer I write for this January? I've kept SAO and Hu Tao's books out of the vote, as I need some time to prepare for the next SAO chapter, and Hu Tao will be getting its long awaited wedding finale in February.

Bro, I want to know something, but I don't want you take it mad. What happened with  the Eula story??

Happy Birthday Furina! 
          
          I do wish that I had realised her birthday was coming up, it completely snuck up on me and I wish I could have done a chapter for her. One of my two best girls (the other being Xinyan of course!)
          
          October, I'm working on the Layla x Reader One Shot now (having stolen precedent from the SAO chapter) and that will release within a few days if not tomorrow.
          
          I will also be getting the SAO chapter out before the end of this month, guaran-damned-teed.
          
          After that? November I'm going to focus on my Furina book, I want to release a chapter for that again, because I miss writing with Furina. 
           I love her so much. 
          
          If I do get any other chapters out in November, it'll likely be the Kanade book because I feel like I've completely neglected that one, and it should be pretty short and easy to give a satisfying ending to.
          
          Sorry for the absence, and for my l’appel du vide of recent. I still do feel this  way, but I'm not gonna give up just yet - I want to finish my books before I call it quits, and SAO still has a good long while left of it!
          
          Hope you'll be here to read these chapters as they come out, hopefully my routine and schedule will return soon. Apologies again for the absence!

Hey all, sorry for absence. Still alive! (relevancy below)
          
          I have been pretty busy lately, especially at work where I'm currently being worked to the bone each and every day and being way too exhausted to do much else with my exhausted brain.
          
          One of my friends at work has gotten me into Runescape 3, which has been nice. I enjoy having a game in common with someone in real life, it's been a while for both that and just having a friend at all!
          
          Also, obviously I'm hooked on Umamusume, and I considered writing a book for that. But I know I have too many books on my table as it is, and the Umamusume stories aren't really adaptable, as they're based on real life. So it would literally just be a fluff book, which is the part of writing I really struggle with!
          
          I am still writing my SAO chapter, and it's currently sitting at 25k words, with the initial estimate being 40k words by the end, but I think it might end up being closer to 35k at this point.
          
          The Game Development has taken a backseat for now, as I have so much on my plate that I didn't want to sacrifice the quality of that by juggling it alongside everything else haphazardly. But I did really enjoy it.
          
          I think that might also be partly the reason why I've been so [redacted] recently. I've not mentioned it at all to even the people on Discord, but there was a long period of time where I was 50/50 on whether I should keep waking up. Since my cat passed away I don't really have anything keeping me bolted to the earth, and as my quality of life worsened so did my interest in prolonging it. I'm still in this mindset, but I have at least bought myself a couple months.
          
          I've booked a holiday to Disney World for my birthday, and I did so deliberately because now I can look at these misfortunes with "just a couple more months" and that's enough to soldier on for the time being. Black Friday and Christmas are going to be VERY VERY VERY busy at work, so I'm hoping to finish SAO soon, Genshin next.

Hey all, sorry for being so quiet.
          
          To be honest I've been hit pretty hard with the downers, and I'm kinda struggling at the moment to do much.
          
          However I have been updating my Discord with updates on a daily basis regarding my works, and I feel like it's about time I made some public progress here too.
          
          SAO Chapter is currently sitting at about 11,000 words and I'm a fifth of the way through it. I'm trying to do at least 1000 words a day, but on my days off from work I can probably manage way more than that.
          
          I've also started developing a game. At the moment it's just a simple little project but I do plan to make it a fully-fledged thing at some point — and currently it's a HTML game so I could just throw it up on a website and you'd all be able to play it!
          
          I'm trying to get past this hurdle in my life, but at this time there isn't really much light cresting over that mountain in the distance. But if nothing else, I want to make sure all of my books get a proper conclusion before I leave them to rot.
          
          I was thinking I might swap it up once this next SAO chapter drops, and I'll focus on releasing chapters for one book each month. Then hopefully by December I'll have finished off a good few of them.

          In regards to current books, I've been doing some storyboarding, and I'm pretty sure the Eula and Inazuma books have about 5 chapters in them each. The Furina book has a lot left, unless you guys want me to skip over a lot of stuff and just sorta reference it as stuff that has happened without going into too much detail? In which case that book will likely have 5-10 more chapters.
          
          SAO I'm hoping to have the Aincrad arc end within 10 more chapters, and the SAO chapter I'm currently working on is a fanservice chapter, so I'm not including that as part of the 10 chapters left to do. Also, please note that this chapter is likely going to be a 20-30k word chapter so please allow me some patience to get this done properly.
          
          And, if there are any artists amongst you, I'd love some help for a couple of images I'd like to have for it. This'll be a paid gig, now that I have a job again to pay for things and no longer having an adorable little cat to soak up all my funds.
