Y’all I was planning on entering TODOF in the wattys this year (as I did last year as ongoing story, but I couldn’t update often enough), but apparently they have yet ANOTHER new rule that previously entered now completed stories aren’t eligible. Every year I feel like I keep accidentally missing the mark and I can’t even get a proper chance to share my story and I’m just so sad rn. Like I’m never even eligible and that drives me nuts

I’m gonna start making some small changes to TODOF this month, so it might me offline for a little bit! It’ll mostly be spell checks so don’t worry! Also I’m taking the original off (it’s really about damn time)

Believe it or not, but it was not writer’s block. This chapter was just insanely difficult to write, and I’ve been with these characters in my head since I was 15. I’m turning 21 in less than two hours. Time flies, and yet I’m still not ready to let go.
Enjoy the last chapter of The Obscure Downsides of Fame. I hope Oakley and Nolan gave you the escapism I needed back when I started writing the first draft of this novel. And I hope you loved them as much as I did. <3
