it gets really sad when I come back on this website and look around. time changes things, I know, but it's still depressing to explore the abandoned accounts of my friends. some are hollowed out, no books or conversations left to see what had once been, while others are almost perfectly preserved. untouched after a strangely fateful decision to close the app one last time. I miss those I no longer hear from. the people who grew up, those who disappeared. I mean hell, some have straight up died. it's been a mess. it's been awful. it's been... magnificent. one day, we'll all disappear from here.
I wonder who will wander through my archives when I'm gone. I wonder if I will leave any archives to wander to begin with.
so quiet, this side of the site is. the side full of roleplayers that used to share books and trinkets, which are now too expensive or rare or simply outlived. what has become of us? it's dramatic, but it's a question to be considered. what happened? has anything changed at all? perhaps, but not always for the better.
I'm sure to disappear off this site one day. here is your choice;
