Hi! So I have a little update - if you didn't know, I'm participating in the Open Novella Contest this year with my entry, The Conditions of Coin, a story which IS COMPLETE!! Offline, of course, but readers can expect regular updates of the final six chapters. I took a little time away from Wattpad to finish it, so now that it is, I will be catching up on my reading and book club assignments and responding to comments. That's it! I finished a story I'm happy with, there could potentially be another novella in the same world...who knows.

          Cheers,

@OctaviaLocke aww thank you! It's funny, I was actually just thinking about that story the other day and then thought of you! It's one I wish very much to go back to one day, once I get some other projects finalized!

@jusdubs That's wonderful to hear! Your stories always have so much charm! I still can't get those first few chapters of Denver's story out of my head with the black cat and the house that shifted. When I read that, it felt magical. I hope one day you'll return to that story, but I know how it goes and different projects speak to you at different times.

I'm back? Kind of. I started writing again and already posted a chapter here. It's the first story I'm excited about that has everything I love - a middle-grade protagonist, fantasy creatures, a sprinkle of mystery and lots of whimsy. If anyone is out there looking for a cute adventure story about unlikely friends that doesn't turn romantic, and that stays pretty light-hearted the whole way through and...insert spoiler warning here...contains dragons, then A Dream of Sky might be for you. I'll try to post regularly, but I have a lot of things going on right now. At the very least, I want to have a finished draft by the end of the year.

          Cheers,

If you're looking for a new read that takes place during the Regency Era and is romance and includes some spice, why not check out my latest WIP - The Slow Death of Good Sense | A Somewhat Regency Romance ? This is what I've been working on for the past few months and it's brought me a great deal of joy mimicking that style of writing and way of speaking. It's my first romance-heavy story, that includes some explicit spice. I'm excited to have people read it and experience all that delicious yearning (Just don't expect it to be historically accurate - I couldn't be bothered with all that research, at least not for this draft).
