Okay, so after six years of forgetting Kingdom Hearts existed, I've been getting back into it lately... And I want to talk about the soundtrack.
When Kingdom Hearts 3 came out, it was when I had a more shallow appreciation and view of orchestral music; I hadn't begun playing the violin yet, so I just knew there were some tracks I liked, and a lot of tracks I didn't like. Listening to it now, though, I'm able to fully appreciate the harmonies, the masterful arrangement of the orchestra, and the sheer amount of effort, emotion, time, and overall theatricality of it all. Sure, there are some pieces I like more than others, but I'm able to listen and view it through a new lense now, and have a higher appreciation for it.
All in all, I highly recommend it if you like orchestral music, especially all the tracks composed for Port Royal/The Caribbean, because they all have their own flair, but they're so reminiscent of the films' soundtracks. My personal favorites from that section are Hearts of Courage and The Victorious, both by Yoshitaka Suzuki.
This isn't a post aimed at anyone, more for myself than anything; I just wanted to vocalize my thoughts and how my opinions on the game's music(and the game overall) have changed. I'm looking forward to finally replaying it after letting it gather dust on my shelf for half a decade. :)

@OctaviaMelody2000 you just gave me an idea, I should write a Jerry ff >_< my mom read the books and is currently watching the series. She said that there's a lot of similarities to the book but all the 'controversial' topics aren't but I think you'll still like it. I also love when minor characters are given more spotlight. When I was younger I used to be obsessed with Harry Potter (kinda still am lol) and I LOVED reading the books bcuz Neville was mentioned more there than in the movies. Not-main-character characters are usually the best tbh. Sameeeee. Making a full story and staying true to it and making it interesting is so hard, idk how authors do it.

@AveryJohnsonOriginal girllll I feel you, I have a favorite side character I've come to love in The Hobbit films, but he's hardly mentioned in the book and his death is only one line at the end... TAT ...so like of course I had to start writing a full fanfic for him in his honor, bc he's my favorite. It's been two years and I've only finished editing ten chapters -_-) it's a long one, but I'm determined to finish it. I have a Kingdom Hearts ff lined up to write when I'm eventually finished with it. But I do love when minor characters are given life in a good way, and I saw something similar on my YouTube FYP, where I got shorts of Anne and Gilbert, lol! I'm excited to see the differences between the show and the old movies, which are closer to the books :3 My writing was also mostly short stories for a long time, so I have trouble staying with one thing for a long period bc of my memory issues; but I have my friend to keep me motivated since she's gotten hooked on it, and I'm really grateful for her keeping me in line. Hopefully I'll have it finished before long, if I can just get myself to write faster XD Anyways, I'm excited to see Jerry, he sounds so sweet!

@OctaviaMelody2000 it's a gift that you have, being able to write long stories. For at least 3 years of my writing life I could only write short stories and I was always very sad that I couldn't develop a full story. Keep doing long ones, you could even publish books one day! I'm gonna cry :( crazy how normally characters are more mentioned in books but in this case he isn't TT I want to give the director a hug for showing Jerry in almost every episode. He appears as a hired hand and Anne is his only friend. He mostly just does his work and Anne teaches him how to read. And in s3, Diana and Jerry even have a small romance >_< actually the sole reason I started watching Anne with an e is because a lot of shorts of Jerry and Diana appeared on my feed and I thought it looked like a good show. He's my favourite character

@AveryJohnsonOriginal there's definitely something magical about being on an ice rink as opposed to a roller rink, and while I doubt I'll look as good as he does on the ice, I'll definitely do my best to have fun!! I last went ice-skating when I was twelve, so I'll absolutely let you know what it's like once I get a refresher!!! ~(^u^)~

Do y'all ever read such an amazing webtoon that's of such quality, such depth, and absolutely wrenches your heart with every painful character interaction and develops said characters so perfectly, that when you hit the most recent chapter and have to wait for more, everything else you read after that simply pales in comparison?

@aminha14 Death is the Only Ending for the Villainess. The build-up is immaculate, painful, tragic, and yet I thirst for more. I'll have to suffer and distract myself for a few months while I wait to binge read whatever new chapters have been updated. T-T)
