Alright, here's the deal: I've noticed that the Octonauts fandom is starting to get a bit toxic. Some fans have had their artwork stolen on Tumblr, and others dismiss different Ships and Headcanons, telling fans to ‘get with the program.’ For instance, if someone suggests Kwazii had a normal childhood, they often face criticism from newer fans who take the show too seriously, insisting, ‘Actually, Kwazii has trauma and that's canon.’ It's become a right or wrong battle. Personally, I don't want to leave this fandom. Fans shouldn’t feel pressured to add trauma or any specific details to these characters; they’re free to craft their own stories. That's what fandom is all about—sharing our love for Octonauts, not fighting over what’s right. Plus, since it’s a children’s show, it's meant to be light and fun, not overly serious. Hope this sheds some light. ♡

@Octonauts16 That’s sad to hear. I’m a returning fan and writer trying to find the other Octonauts fans. (I left for a while, way before Above and Beyond came around) And coming back is now a bit hard because I haven’t heard much from any fans lately, and now I just found out here why. Thanks for spreading awareness!

@goodtobadbackstories Yeah…I know a lot of people on Tumblr who are leaving because of this. And that's where it started. We need to spread awareness of it. To let other Octoanuts fans know.
