it is within my belief that someone is going to die. Will suffers from "all the blue eyed blond haired fuck boys die" syndrome. Nico is less likely to die, but I'm not ruling anything out.
so here's my theory:
One of them (A) (probably nico since he would feel it if Will died) has to fake their death so the other can complete a prophecy(B). So A is laying low but monitoring B while they search for their love and solution to the prophecy. They find each other in the end.
bonus: in the riordanverse, the books are in sets of three or five. So why only two TSATS books? Is a third on the way?
