hey guys! i can't believe its been so long since I've last updated.  I am currently in the process of rewriting dead heart! I started this fanfic when I was very young, and the jankiness of the story has prevented me from wanting to continue writing. For the past several months I have considered dropping this story entirely, as I am now in college (yay!) and it is extremely time-consuming.  Recently I have rediscovered my passion for writing and this story, and have even rewritten parts of it.  If I can be consistent and make a decent backlog, I will begin releasing chapters for the rewritten dead heart weekly. If I can't, I will release the entire plot that I have written so you guys can have that closure to the story. So sorry for such a long hiatus! I hope to release the rewritten chapters soon!

just had someone comment a slur on my story, delete it, and pretend like it never happened.  theyre muted from my account, so hopefully they wont be able to interact further. DONT FUCKING COMMENT SLURS !!! HOLY SHIT. its not that fucking hard. if youre being hateful in my stories or in general, stay the fuck away. my content is not for you AT ALL.

editing the earilier chapters a little bit. super unsatisfied and unhappy with them. they dont reflect my writing at all and I fear they give a poor impression at what the rest of my fic is about. content will stay (very much) the same but with some better writing.  new chapter should be out soon! i busted out around 1700 words tonight so :) hopefully before the end of this month !!

in honor of pride month + the summer, I'll be trying to update as much as i can!! dont know how well thatll work out, but we shall see ^^

sorry about not having a new chap this week! I plan on releasing a new one next week, as I've unfortunately had to rethink some major plot in the story.  Im trying to focus more on character growth, and that has thrown a bit of a wrench into my old plans!
          
          Im really liking this new plot so far, tho! i think itll be a nice, welcome change <3

OK OK,,, i took a couple weeks off because of my finals, my two weeks of break, and me almost getting covid (turned out to be the cold) as well as the holidays.  I do have a good plan for these upcoming chapters, so updates should resume either the next weekend, or the one after that.  thank you for your patience!

skipped this weeks update just to catch up on some things, but you should be seeing some new stuff soon! tmr is the start of finals week, so that may further delay this upcoming chapter.  I will try my best though!!

          BUT- I have 90% of this book FINALLY planned out, I got through a ton of it today, and I'm much more confident on where I'll be going with this story.
          
          On that note, I have written over 2k words for chap 22 since posting the last chapter, and I think I'll be able to write even more at the pace i'm going.  Expect (some) weekly updates~

Quick question while I’m plotting the story and writing the next chapter;
          
          What’s your opinion on y/n stories that have physical descriptions, or in depth personality descriptions of their reader? 
          
          I personally give those (when needed) in order to breathe some kind of life into the story. Having a blank slate protag can be boring to read, and hard to write. 
          
          What do y’all think?
