Dear, Readers of Unyielding my Sakusa x Oc fanfic
When I started this fanfic I had numerous ideas for it, angst, fluff, you name it. I loved Sakusa for his eccentric personality and hoped to create a long fanfic circling it around numerous of characters in Haikyuu.
I was getting happy that my story was well recieved and wanted a dynamic relationship that involved two people that couldn't be more on the opposite sides of the spectrum. I was having fun with the strange character that was Sakusa.
Until a person who commented told me they read an exceedingly similar Sakusa fanfic on Ao3. Which I ended up searching for and reading it. Although that fanfic hadn't been updated since 2017, it drew much similiarity if not the same scenes as my own fanfic.
Now, all fanfics that I write are ideas of my own made from my own imagination. But it seems that my Unyielding fanfic had not been my own as I thought.
I want to give out apologies to everyone who has been involved with this fanfic.
To my readers, who enjoyed the story, those who voted, commented, silently supported it and who even was gracious enough to add it to their libraries. I'm sorry if my fanfic seemed like a cheap copy of a fanfic that has already been published and made you follow along.
I apologise to the person who commented pointing it out the similarities, it was never my intention of seeming as if I copied someone else's work.
And to the author, I apologise for my fanfic. Even if I worked tirelessly for each chapter, it was not my intention for 'stealing' plot from the fanfic from 2017.
I'm sorry everyone, I feel so ashamed and flustered, I would never want to seem as if I was plagiarising or copying somebody else's idea and for that I can only hope for forgiveness.
For now this fanfic has been deleted, but depending on feedback from viewers I may republish it with reluctance.
