I was reading the first issue of year one again and I realized that in the comics it said he was an accountant. I don't want to rewrite the whole storyline for 'Obsessed With You!' so all of us are just going to pretend he has the same backstory as Edward Nygma

i finally finished the second chapter of 'Obessed With You' so if you enjoyed the first I highly recommend reading the second chapter
