A thought of what Y/N and Subsru would be like if they swapped places.
Now how far you take the swap changes the outcomes.
So in the situation where Y/N has RBD but lacks his current knowledge.
He'd always meet Emilia (Since Roswaal would make sure he'd meet her at least once) and get stuck fighting Elsa for a lot longer the Subaru
Arc 2 he would try and leave the mansion after a few deaths, but Roswaal would ensure Rem and or Meili kill him when he did. (He'd also learn he lacks an affinity but has a large amount of Od.)
Arc 3, he never has to fight the whale, because he went back with Emilia. It would take a lot of loops before beating Petalguess, and saving the village. By this point, Emilia, Rem, Ram, and partly Beatrice, would be his pillar of stability. They'd all see by now he's childish side is completely gone.
Arc 4 he'd be stuck here for a long time. Learning Roswaal planned everything would make him determined to just fuck him over and ruin the plan. He'd make some sort of contract with Echidna, a trade of earth science and knowledge for the worlds science and history (Avoiding anything beyond that)
He'd tell Stella he hates her, and deny her request to kill her.
By the end, either he walks away finally being free of Roswaals control, or, more likely stay due to being an emotional reck
So Rem would be fine. Otto is probably dead (or is rescued but goes about his life), Crusch's camp is gone (Which will annoy Y/N as he'll keep swearing that their was 5 candidates(speaking of, how would Wilhelm getting erased effect the Astria Family?))
Y/N would be numb. Arc 3 and 4 he'd be pretty apathetic to his situation. Ram wouldn't pick on him nearly as much since he wouldn't banter back after a while. Emilia and Rem would always try something to cheer him up. Beatrice and him would have the odd chat about their respective worlds.
So thats how'd I imagine Re:zero would go if Y/N was in Subaru's place. Not that great

@Okdhcvng oh nah that mf most likely glues himself to rein the moment they make it to the capital. Also fun fact somehow the whole shtick with meili was not actually his doing but capellas book.

@BooksLored something i was sitting on for my book was using this image https://images.justwatch.com/poster/332741434/s718/season-1.jpg and edit it a bit and have space to put Y/N in the middle. But thinking how your story has recently focused on Echidna and Y/N. I could try making something like this but with Ecidna and Y/N. Problem is, getting good cutouts to fit. Was also thinking trying to creat a sence from the Castle of Dreams, but we're stuck with portrait which limits it. Unless you want to try sideways but I can't think how to get it to work
