(My friend wrote this but can’t post it because her parents are trump supporters, and I was given permission to post this. Plus, people really need to hear this. Also, happy pride month! This message will be split into two parts because it’s too long for just one announcement)
          	Trump is a TERRIBLE human being with white, male, cis, and straight privilege. No one should walk this earth, trembling because they’re scared for their life might get taken away. In over 40 states, it is legal to murder a queer person just because they flirted with you. In states, it’s legal for police officers to take people into their homes and rape them on duty. In states, black people can be killed right of the bat for doing nothing. In the United States of America, where people came to get free, the only way you don’t fear for your life is by being a white, cis, straight person. By walking down the streets, a black person can get killed if they LOOK suspicious, while if a white person looks like they’re up to something, nothing is done about it. The most vulnerable people out there are transgender people of color; the opposite can be said with people who aren’t queer and white. Trump- a white, cis, straight man, says to make America “great again”. This country was never “great”- this country was cruel, violent, and hateful to people of color.

The Stonewall riot was started by a transgender women of color- Marsha P. Johnson. Without her, the people in the LGBTQ+ community wouldn’t be where it is now- thank you. 
          	  Black people have stayed silent for hundreds of years- fearing for their lives every day of it. The United States has been around for over 400 years now- and inequality for the way you were born is STILL happening. People say it is 2020, but this is the worst time in our history. 
          	  I am a white, cisgender, panromantic, woman- I can be raped and killed like any other person, and I am ashamed to be white. It’s disgusting to think that it’s 2020 and walking down the streets and flirting can get you killed. 
          	  The murder of George Floyd was not right. His murder was only charged with third degree murder and was not arrested. That is not ok. That being took a life out of this world that did nothing to deserve it and nothing has been done- the only reason he was charged was because of the riots. 
          	  The constitution suggests that if the government is threatening the power of the people, it is time to over throw them. Donald Trump said SHOOT the protesters that where trying avenge Floyd. He is also working to get LGBTQ+ rights taken away. 
          	  Black lives matter- everyone matters- we were all given life and a voice- use it for the right cause. 
          	  It is not a sin to be queer- it is not a crime to be black- woman are not second class- disabled people are not weak- we all cannot choice being those things. Do your research. The “homophobic” scriptures in the Bible are just telling you not to rape and be a pedophile- so be a decent human being like everything else in it.
