The Hunter's Songs book will be down briefly, starting this weekend. This is the last week to read the old version. There will be new covers and some new art in the mix when they go back up.

Some News, Everyone!
ALL the HUNTER SONG books are coming DOWN temporarily.
The rewrite is complete and the new cover art is nearly finished.
Raven Tide's new look is in the final stages.
What will happen:
The books: The Hunter's Song, The Hunter's Song II: Lost Blood, and Raven Tide will be deactivated. I will update each novel, starting with The Hunter's Song, and reactivate with the new cover art as each is completed.
This process will take a few days, cause real life will get in the way like it always does, but this process will go quickly, maybe a week or two total for all three books.
The changes: Grammar, flow, and some basic infrastructure within the stories to remove the fandom aspects of the stories.
The overall plot, characters, and spicy scenes will remain intact.
Why: It's a long story and I will post a full explanation when I do the update, but I don't want to get derailed when I'm so close to finishing this massive project. The core reason is creative control as I move into the new books - I have some really fun spicy things planned for the next 3 books and this is the best method to make the new stories shine.
I'll make a notice before this goes into effect.

I will be taking down my books Stealing Mars and Unstable Magic on this app. One is Sci-fi and the other is modern fantasy, but neither are romance novels and they simply perform better on other platforms. There's a link in my bio to the other apps I post on if you wish to read them.

Major writing project coming. I've been quiet for a while - been drawing and drafting - however, due to some oddness occurring with the app I have no choice but to take the initiative. The project is massive and will take a bit to complete, but there will be a major post(s) this year. I'll elaborate as I get further along. In the meantime, still here just working my tail off in my writey-hole.

@OloosDomain Neah, the book and the imagines in it are all fine, it was just my fish memory that got me into trouble. Yup I've read about it... it's not a good feeling for sure. I also drew in the past and I know the amount of time, work and soul one puts in this. Stealing that result is hurtful. Good, good! Knowing that you also have your stories stored and on so many platforms makes me breath in relief. Wow, can't wait to see the new cover but hope you will still keep the old one as an imagine in one of the chapters. Yah, I have weeds also, but at the end of the day they are plants also... no? Hugs

@MistressZuzi Oh, woops, was it the image of Mourning Crow fighting amongst the rocks? I'll repost it. There was an incident where someone outright stole my cover art, got caught red-handed, and was all - I didn't know it was yours - meanwhile, they had to cut out my name to use it They apologized and took it down immediately, and faith in humanity was dented but overall intact. This led to me hurriedly having to take inventory of all my images, some got switched out for expediency while others were overlayed in big ugly watermarks - cause I didn't have enough stress on my plate. All my stories are safe and sound, I keep offline copies and posted them on Inkitt as well, plus all my art is always available through the link in my profile. So all good here. Although, now I'm nervous to let you know that I am creating brand new cover art. The red cover will still feature Shale but with him facing forward, same pose and all but I plan to show off his sexy pecs. As for sunlight, I glance at it occasionally from the window and try to spend time in the garden, just don't ask how bad I let the weeds get this year

@OloosDomain Oh My GOD! I was just browsing through my library and somehow my mind remembered "The hunter's song" cover with the picture of Morning Crow from ch 3. And of course I could not find it and I panicked thinking something happened to it. Like really, really bad. After about 20 minutes spent on the search page, I went back to library and finally the name and the red cover hit me. I was so scared I lost this book. Anyway, happy to hear you are @ and creating beautiful things. Just don't forget to spend time in the sun often. Kisses and hugs

Taking a little pause before starting the next book; draw a few commission & fan requests - and what does my brain do??? Think up another crazy hot book idea. Stop it brain! I'm trying to take care of my mental health and you're keeping me up late drafting out the concept. Now, I gotta go make even more cover art.

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery, but guys, outright STEALING an artist's hand-drawn cover art without permission is not cool. I get the people borrow art for their covers but not cool to just yoink another writer's cover especially when they spent hours drawing them.

@NightOwl8479 Yup, they had to erase my signature from my illustration and created a cover very very near my Hunter's Song cover. But I contacted them and they took it down right away. So my faith in humanity is not yet lost.
