          	So deleted my books. Keeping my account to just read a couple things I wanna finish. 
          	
          	I’m just on RR now. Prob other suitable platforms as they come up!

          	  I too have taken down my books because I have submitted 'The Ocean and Sky Detective Agency' to a few Canadian Publishers. (I know better to buy a lottery ticket, anyways! ! ! 
          	  
          	  I just look in every once in a while to see if what happening with some of the people that I talked to, so it was great to see your announcement.
          	  
          	  Just want to say that that I loved reading your books, especially 'Strange Blood'.
          	  I learned a lot about writing dialogue from reading yours, so immediate and from the heart.
          	  
          	  Also, thanks for reading my books and your great and very helpful comments.
          	  
          	  As I understand Olvard Smith is your real name. Ellis Finn is a nom de plume (so fancy eh!)
          	  Anyways my real name is Doug Rylett.
          	  
          	  I will send you my book if lighting strikes and tell me if you publish.
          	  I still think you you should add a chapter with Marcel as a major character.
          	  
          	  Anyways, thanks again and loved your writing ! ! !

I'm alive! I mean, I've been updating my story but that's about it. Currently subjecting myself to a form of NaNoWriMo for the first time, except I'm just tacking on 55K to Heart of Straw this month. As a result, I have one late upload and two faster-than-usual ones.
          
          Chapter 38 | "PINK SNOW"
          Chapter 39 | "SERMON II"
          Chapter 40 | "WONDERWEAVE"

I’ve emerged from my not-logging-in cave to update my story! 
          
          The Bristles arc is a fun one to write so that’s continuing.

Hello :) a couple bits of exciting news for me.
          
          1) I’ve posted chp 23 “WRATHRAVEN” of Heart of Straw
          2) I’ve line-edited all current 80K words start-to-finish, so it reads much cleaner. No events changed. Editing passes/cleaning will be an ongoing thing. 
          3) both Heart of Straw and The Boy With Strange Blood have been added to the @newlywrittenbooks reading lists (thank you!!!)
          
          Now afk, I’m on vacation. Hope y’all are doing well and look forward to returning and reconvening!

Yoooooo, it's my first Friday of my new Monday + every other Friday schedule, so I'm excited to throw up one of the stranger and cooler chapters.
          
          1) Chapter 22 | "THE NO-STORM CELLAR" -- a postcard comes to life and unleashes the dangers of its beautiful scenery. 
          2) I've line-edited the first 11 chapters. No changes to events, just cleaned it up, shortened and clarified lines.

Hi everyone! How’s everyone doing? Multiple things to cover :)
          
          1. What’s the favorite thing you’ve been reading lately? 
          
          2. Chapter 20 Heart of Straw is up! I’ve also line-edited the first 9 chapters and will continue with a gradual cleaning of the piece as I prep for not only finishing the book but creating subsequent books in the Cearth universe.
          
          3. @storiesundiscovered has been gracious enough to feature The Boy With Strange Blood for the month of August. 
          
          4. I promise to catch up on reading. Just been largely offline so please forgive.

Morning all!
          I’m alive, though still somewhat inactive as I dive into the unexpected journey of writing Heart of Straw offline and creating myself a backlog. It’s a fun time, learning efficient writing. So here I am, with a Monday update. Chp 19 is out but here’s a link to chapter 1.

Returning with more evidence of life! It's been a busy summer so I haven't been on as much but updates:
          
          1) wrapping up judging for General Fict at the Coven awards :)
          2) skipping an upload for Heart of Straw this weekend but will be back 7/24. I'm trying out a new writer schedule. Weekly updates for that will be Mondays.
          3) also started up on RoyalRoad (same username)--let me know if ya'll got accounts there as well!
          4) possibly taking down my short stories for refinement + experimentation. Basically, if you ever see them again they'll have art and/or be in some journal hahaha
          
          That's all for me. I am alive, and will be reading your works if I'm like, in-progress and such.
