I blame the MHA fandom completely for my lack of updates on the erasermic oneshots. It's difficult to keep trying to write for a ship that used to bring me so much happiness but is now a horrible reminder of the fandom it comes with.
Seriously, the amount of rude, toxic, annoying, and hateful people in this fandom is so tiring. When first entering the fandom, it confused me when I heard people mention how horrible the fanbase was because I hadn't seen first hand many bad things about it. As of the past few months, I've been exposed to not even the worse of it, and it sickens me.
The comment section of my erasermic oneshots is a small example of this. I understand humor, and I understand that I am not the best writer, but the comments are so repetitive and unnecessary. I've had to put up with it for more than a year now, and I am sick of it.
I believe this is my sort of 'goodbye and fuck off' to the MHA fandom. I've just gotten too tired of trying to force myself into writing for something that only fills me with the fear of being off handly mocked and copyed.
I apologize to any respectful and kind people in the fanbase who put up with the community's horrible part as I had to.
