They're so good! It never felt like the story was over 100 years old. I think the show's a lot more fun when you can see all the references that Moffat and Gatiss have lovingly dropped in. I'm predicting "The Adventure of the Dying Detective" for season 4. If it doesn't happen, I'll be surprised.

I can't remember anything but pointless facts and random television references. Short term I'm decent - outside of that... Meh. My brain is quick to shove anything not immediately needed into a dark closet.

Oh yes! Found out three days after my latest birthday... Was not happy with the timing.
          
          (I did, however, know that the murder in "Valley of Fear" was on Jan. 6th, so I had that to celebrate...)

@EpicGeek Tyger, Tyger (same thing as Tiger) is a Mentalist reference, which the show I turned to for my genius detective fix when I ran out of Sherlock.

I know we share the Doctor Who part - I'm sure Sherlock follows suit - but do our similarities extend into Tyger, Tyger? No real matter though. Doctor Who alone is plenty to have in common.
