THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT POST THAT WILL AFFECT THE FUTURE OF COLLEGE YEARS, SO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION, READ IT THROUGH, AND RESPOND AT THE END.
          So I recently received a comment on the latest chapter of College Years that has really made me think. I won't name names on who it was that left it, but I'm sure you guys can find it if you look.
          Basically it was a comment critiquing my story so far, with the commenter stating their grievances with what's essentially half of the story. It criticises the sexual nature and mentioning of alcohol (despite the story being marked as mature and therefore meaning it's expected) but more importantly it critiques the focus on characters' relationships (the many couples we have) and says it diverts too much from the family dynamic we see in The Vacation AU.
          Let me make this clear, I'm not making this post to be mean or to tell you guys to go and attack this person and tell them they're wrong. 
          I'm making this post because it's genuinely worried me that there are a number of you who also believe this and haven't told me at all.
          From the moment I began this fic, I wanted to make it as a major addition to the amazing Vacation AU that was made by SpartaWrites. If I am not doing a good job of adding to its lore and that there are a number of you who believe it's not a good prequel story, or worse that it's totally ruining it, then I need to know this now before I even release another chapter to the story.
          Please reply to this post with your thoughts below. 
          I'm desperate to gauge the opinions of all the people who are paying attention to this fic.

Hi everyone! Small update for what's happening on the writing front.
          I'm working through the next chapter of College Years as usual but I've hit a writer's block there. I will just have to warn you all that there will now be more of a gap between chapters of College Years for the forseeable future, so the weekly chapters you were all used to getting when I first started writing it will no longer be a thing, as you all probably have noticed. I do still have plenty of ideas, it's just the struggle of making the descriptions and dialogue all fit perfectly can be quite tedious and exhausting when it isn't coming to me.
          On another note, I am also making good progress with my Cat and Fox spin off fic, as I've already written the first chapter and am currently working on the second one whenever I don't have any ideas for College Years. I won't be releasing those chapters for some time, since I am also depending on the progress of Sparta's original AGOCAF chapter progression too, but I will tell you the title of my fic, which is "Tales From New Haven." I am hoping to release the first two chapters over the summer holidays, but again it depends on Sparta.
          With that said I'd just like to give a small message to Sparta specifically: Please don't feel like my fic is putting additional pressure on you to complete chapters! I'd hate to be unintentionally forcing you to rush it just because of my fic. You're one of my favourite writers and a massive inspiration! The last thing I wanna do is make you uncomfortable and pressurise you into quickly releasing chapters that aren't completed as great as you can make them. As always, take your time with it. I'll be patiently waiting to see what you have in store, regardless of how long it takes.
