the fic was central around tommyinnit. i dont remember all the little details, but he died and was revived by Dream XD, then by the ending, tommy had gone insane and had like red vines/tentacles out his back and he'd transformed some of his friends too. he ended up particularly close to ranboo in it, who was also transformed. it ended with tommy giving up, and he stabbed himself with one of his tentacle vines. tubbo lived, and when a new generation arrived, he told them the story
