We just gotta accept atp that these people dont care about the story, dont care about the writing, dont care about the characters, dont care about the villains, and dont care about the OGs. And this coming from Sasuke/Sasusaku fans for years.
@OpaliteRey Not gonna lie, I wasn't against BoruSara at the beginning, but the way Ikemoto keeps pushing this ship when there's no tangible development in the story pointing to it being endgame is frustrating. For instance, Kishimoto was at least consistent with SasuSaku, showing years of development between the two from the very beginning.

Whenever I write SasuSaku fanfiction, I try to deny Boruto's existence. Every time I'm reminded of that abominable sequel—which nerfed Sasuke and butchered his legacy—my motivation to write Sasusaku drops to zero. I end up either switching it all to the original characters or moving on to another fandom entirely, like Swifties.
@meharsultana31 I don't really like HP to be honest. I tried to read it when I was fourteen but I gave up since it's not my taste haha (I don't like over the top fantasy that includes magic or so on). Personally the only fantasy I like is Naruto, Inuyasha (Inuyasha also destroyed by its bad sequel) and Tokyo Mew Mew, Sailor Moon, usually I prefer more grounded fictional romance books like John Green novels or thriller books. I still write SasuSaku, but I will gravitate to writing original characters

@meharsultana31 helloo... there are plenty of them. Been stanning Taylor since Speak Now (OG) 2010. I could say my fave right now is : Elizabeth Taylor, Should've Said No, False God, King of My Heart, Is It Over Now?, etc. I have very long list I'm afraid I can't include all of them
The fact that Boruto still gets praise despite all the terrible writing makes me question myself. Even as an amateur writer, I literally overthink my plot to see if it makes sense or not, and yet Ikemoto, with his half-lazy writing, gets all the praise, and people say, *“He understands Kishimoto’s characters better than Kishimoto himself.”* Like… what? Are those people on drugs or something?
By the way, Kishimoto wasn’t involved in the writing (he supervised it, not wrote it). He just laid out the first draft, and the publisher used his name as bait to attract old fans.
The latest chapter got buzz because of Sakura’s appearance. See? The manga sequel still relies on OG characters to generate discussion. This chapter brought the SNS shippers out because Ikemoto validated their misogyny. Now they’re saying Naruto experienced homophobia for chasing after Sasuke, and that it’s somehow worse than people being misogynistic toward Sakura. Send the flood, I can’t deal with this anymore.
This is the wrong moment for Sakura fans to defend her writing in Boruto. This scene wasn’t a cute mother-daughter moment; it was character assassination. I know it’s nice to see Sakura after so long, but we don’t need to celebrate male-centered allegations being canonized.
@OpaliteRey Definitely I really do agree with you!!! I do agree every point of you also it's just that our feelings for sakura is too strong that only a glimpse of her makes us happy. But we should start thinking things a little more of your perspective as it sounds right!!! I didn't think of it that way but now that I think of it more, the more I agree with you.
@meharsultana31 I'm sorry if I might offend you but I say it objectively. That's the reason why Boruto will never get canceled despite its bad writing (objective), poorly written characters, butchering OG characters, and again I don't like Ikemoto's art (the way he's sexualizing underage female characters, especially Sarada, oh God). Because it rides the nostalgia from Naruto's loyal fans and rides off of Naruto IP. I think based on your statement, clearly many people read it just mostly for the sake of OG character. Sorry to say, but the writing likely will not be improved because Ikemoto's lazy writing and if you update his latest statement that he said in recent interview that "age doesn't matter" which at least by the way he drew underage girls, you know something is not right with this man

Author I definitely get your point I also thought about why sakura is always like "I trust your father sarada" and idk what to feel I somehow feel happybcoz I got to see sakura for a brief time after years and also a little confused as she could be more confident in herself!!! and also the edits of which Naruto characters is not afraid of their wife, sas is always first, I think they should've made her more stern towards Sasuke and not always giving as what it is always shown in the anime not everyone can understand the deep thought out affections too and their understanding towards eachother they should be more specific about it ✨ I agree with you but am also happy for her appearance!!! I was dying to just have a glimpse of her
