Hey y'all, this is Opera! As y'all know, I've put the Arknights book on hold, but I have some GREAT news for you guys!
I'm moving to AO3!

That's right! I'm finally off this stupid website! Well, I wouldn't call it stupid, per se, the authors here are talented (the ones that I've read, that is), just that the website is sloppy as hell like your mom's spaghetti (joking! Please don't kill me, and stop aiming that gun at me.)
So, the reason why I'm doing this is quite simple, AO3 is way better than Wattpad (in my experience), there's a proper filter system, actual people moderating stuff rather than a bot, and most of all, a feature for a dark mode on PC!
(*GASP*)
Yes... You heard me right, there's a dark mode, on AO3. Wattpad have one on mobile but on PC? We have to fight in the light just so you can live in the dark.

Anywho, that's about it! I know most won't even see this or even bother to care or read this announcement, but for those who do, I sincerely want to thank you and your time spent reading this announcement of mine.

To summarize what my book (or in AO3's terms, work) is, it's just a mercenary getting isekai'd to a furry world that I'm building currently. I won't say it's perfect, but I made it out of spite against a certain furryxhuman works subgenre, which is furryvshuman.
*Ahem* End of an Era, A Man In A Beasts World, Soldiers and Beasts *Ahem*
Though I don't have anything against them (kudos to those authors), their execution of the furryvshuman subgenre seems a little too... unnatural.
Anyway, that's pretty much about it, I'm announcing my leave on Wattpad and moving my stuff to AO3!

Barrack: "Hope y'all get through this! 'Cause I'm sure as hell I ain't!"
Mick shook his head at Barrack's false statement, chuckling to himself.
Mick: "You know you'll live yet again at the end, you bastard!"
Barrack laughs explosively, surprising the feline and perro beside him as he humored himself of Mick's reaction.
Barrack: "Hah! That I can promise to happen!"
With morale high and anticipation drawing near, he lastly diverts his attention to Derick's position on the street next to the main street accompanied by the Onis, all of them bearing a makeshift shield, Derick gave the hospital admin a thumbs up after noticing his gaze in his direction.
Same to Xavier with a nod of sincerity, being protected by Celine and Oliver in the main street with Aiden and Michael's group supplying ammunition, support, and barricade to the main street and the streets next to it at the farther back of the town, preparing for the urban warfare that'll engulf this town, Mick looks forward, seeing the town's gate crumble under the Sarkaz's might, the groaning of wood and the snapping of ropes eventually gave way to the mercenaries, revealing themselves in the cloud of dust and dirt that kicked up in the air after the fall of the gate, with W's eyes glaring red like a cockroach she is.
W: "Oooh~Xavier! W's here for you!!!"

@NicolPanti To answer your question: I have ideas for all of the characters (i.e. Xavier, Cassie, and Bellers) to play with in the story, including the ones on Earth's side with their own cast of characters, as for the general sense of the fanfic, I do have plans for them, like improving the landship of Helvete that the doctors are on, although I am very reluctant on making some of them since it may or may not conflict with the game's lore and the lore I made myself (like Xavier's father), so pretty much I'm doing this slow and steady (that's why I haven't posted a chapter in the past 3-4 months with a tinge of laziness and burnout from the constant things happening in my life) until then, I have some funny and intense moments in the next one after I'm finished writing Cassie's segment of the book, I'm planning to do a mass release with a bonus side chapter at the next one just so I could make up all the lost time I've spent writing the chapters (Writer's Block is annoying).

William: "Alla! Förbered er! De kommer!" [Everyone! Get prepared! They are coming!]
Everyone in their respective positions clenched their fists, tightening their grasp on their bows and shields as a few men prepared the ammunition for the slingshots and the hastily made catapults, the bottles glowing and crackling with fire inside them, ready to be launched at any given moment.
William: "Mick!"
William screamed to gather Mick's attention over a few men at his position, loading the wooden crossbows that they used for hunting, now being used against the mercenaries.
Mick: "Yes?!"
William gulped his fears as the gates were being pounded by the raw strength of the mercenaries, the ropes that held the wood began to hamper and weaken with intensity, making everyone shiver in anticipation for a battle that drew near with each bang the mercenaries make.
William: "If I die fighting here, make sure Gilbert gets out of here safely, okay!?"
Mick smiles at William's stupid request, and yet he nods his head, remembering the old dog man offering them the mansion for shelter and helping their relations with the town folk of Brandé the first day they came arrived at this place.
Barrack: "Hey, admin!"
His attention diverts to Barrack on the rooftop across from him, pulling his wheelchair back to prepare the slingshot to shoot with assistance from a Feline and a Perro.

@Andrie321 Apologies for leaving the book in the dust, I was enjoying Christmas this year and I should've announced that I was taking a break to relax before I went offline and left my book on hold for a while. But don't worry, I will update it soon, I have a lot of things planned for the future, specifically about Colt Bellers and Cassie Williams, their series of chapters aren't installed yet in the book as I am busy currently doing Xavier's and planning out theirs' (with re-reading my past chapters to fix some plotholes and grammar). I hope you don't mind the long wait, I'll try my best to do another chapter release around next year (perhaps in the first week of January?), and as of now, I'll work on the chapter of Xavier's. And thanks for reminding me about this, I almost forgot about it since I was too engulfed in Christmas this year :).
