How have you been? I really hope, that you treat yourself well.
I'm going through a rough patch.
I've been waiting to write this from a better head space but it didn't happen. I feel guilty for feeling the way I do and for writing this message. There were so many versions of it, that I've lost count. It seems, that there isn't a right way to do it. At the same time, I don't want to leave you without response any longer. I'm writing this fast, otherwise I would stare at these words for ages again... It probably doesn't make any sense.
I'm so sorry, if this made you sad. It probably won't change anything, but please, don't be. It isn't as dramatic as it looks like.
As you can see, I wrote, that I'm "going trough" - so this phase will eventually end.
As you can also see, I didn't start with "Hi.", because that would mean, that at some point I would have to write "Goodbye."
Therefore it isn't farewell, but "I'll write to you later".
