I am absolutely in love with Jules and Alina, but honestly writing book two has been a bit of a slog. On some of my writing days I can only do a paragraph. I'm considering taking a bit of a break from them and either going back to working on Of Faith and Flesh, or starting book two of Lena and Valeria, or starting a new idea about a rec therapist who falls in love with an onlyfans model (this story would explore Canada's broken disability benefits system).

Chapter 30 feels like a natural place to pause In Camera Sessions. While several arcs are still in motion, this portion of the story stands mostly on its own. I’ll keep polishing and posting new chapters when I can, but truthfully, it’s been tough to stay in the heavy mindset this story demands.
So for now, I’m shifting focus to a different draft: Soft Gel. It follows a soft butch leftist content creator who falls for a high femme nail technician with a mysterious past. It’s slower, sweeter, and gives me room to explore tenderness, desire, and moments of quiet connection. If In Camera Sessions is about power and politics, Soft Gel is about intimacy and vulnerability.
If you're craving something softer, stay tuned. Soft Gel is coming soon.

I've been absolutely obsessed with my new story In Camera Sessions. I am still polishing and queuing up chapters of Of Faith and Flesh, but I've reached a chapter that's been difficult for me to write because it draws on some tricky personal experiences. I have about 20 chapters written, but I'm putting it on the backburner for now as I focus on In Camera Sessions, where I really feel I've found my voice and style.
I absolutely love Elowen and Sera, and I have no plans on having them disappear into the ether of writer's block. I need to manifest these amazing and strong women. I need them to exist in the world with us, even just as pieces of literature, but right now my mind is exploding with ideas for Lena and Valeria and I need to get those ideas out of my head and onto paper.

What happens when you mix organized labour with dark romance?
I just published the first two chapters of In Camera Sessions on Wattpad. An experimental story that draws from my own experiences in the labour movement and explores power, ambition, and the lines we pretend don’t exist.
At the mic, Lena speaks with conviction. In Valeria’s orbit, she learns how power really works. But the question is, who’s really in control?
If you love political intrigue, union drama, power exchange and a touch of deliciously messy queer tension, this one’s for you.
Would you trust Valeria Sloane? Or would you run?

I am still plugging along with Of Faith and Flesh. I've written up to about chapter 25 on my side, but I've also got something on the backburner:
A young activist gets swept up in the labor movement and quickly rises to a union executive position. She falls for a much older, highly respected trans woman leader. Someone she idolizes, someone who seems to truly see her. But as their secret relationship unfolds, it becomes clear that Lena isn’t a partner, she’s a plaything, a dirty secret. As the union faces a major contract fight, Lena starts to see the parallels between her personal entanglement and the broader struggle for power, exploitation, and control. Caught between love, ambition, and disillusionment, she has to decide: will she burn it all down, walk away, or learn to play the game?

"For a brief, fleeting moment, she allowed herself to consider it. Just one hand, right around Elowen’s ridiculous, grinning face. How bad could it really be?"
✨ Chapters 1 & 2 are live! ✨
Enemies to lovers? More like pragmatic rivals with a tension problem... for now. This slow burn sizzles hotter with each chapter, and trust me, by the time we hit Chapter 24… well, you’ll see.
What’s your favorite part of an enemies-to-lovers arc? The bickering? The oh no, why do I actually care moments? Tell me in the comments!

Consent is Hot. But More Than That, It’s Essential.
There’s a common myth in romance and erotica. That consent slows things down. That it kills the tension, the heat, the moment. That stories need surprise kisses, aggressive advances, and an almost telepathic understanding between characters to feel exciting.
I don't buy it.
I’ve spent years as a sex educator and professional dominatrix, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s this. Desire isn’t just about action, it’s about communication and acknowledgment. It’s about knowing, without a doubt, that the person in front of you wants this just as much as you do. And that? That’s hot.
But even if it wasn’t. Even if modeling good consent didn’t add depth, tension, and heat to a scene, it would still be essential. Without consent, you don’t have romance. You don’t have seduction. You don’t have anything worth craving.
I try to write stories where consent isn’t a roadblock, it’s fuel. It’s the lingering eye contact before a kiss, the subtle tilt forward, the sharp exhale that says yes. It’s someone teasing, "You sure you can handle this?" and the other grinning, "Try me."
What’s hotter than being wanted? Than knowing your partner isn’t just allowing something to happen, but craving it?
This doesn’t mean every character has to stop and sign a waiver before touching lips. But it does mean that every interaction should be built on mutual attraction, on signals exchanged, on desire that runs both ways.
Good consent doesn’t kill the heat. It builds it. It layers the tension. It turns a simple moment into a charged one. One where both people know exactly what’s coming, and can’t wait for it to happen.
If you’re here for stories where consent isn’t just present, but necessary, stick around! I have a lot to say.
What do you think? Can good consent and communication make a scene even hotter? Have you ever read a book where a lack of it completely ruined the romance for you? Let’s talk in the comments!

Hey readers! ✨
I’m curious. When you pick up a romance novel, do you prefer:
❤️ Romance as the main plot: where everything revolves around the relationship, with all the tension, angst, and longing front and center?
Romance as the B-plot: where there’s another central event (mystery, survival, rebellion, etc.), and the romance unfolds alongside it?
I’d love to hear your thoughts! What keeps you hooked? And do you think a story can do both well? Drop your take in the comments! ⬇️

The wait is over! Get a taste of "Of Faith and Flesh!"
Before the full story launches this Friday, I’m giving you a sneak peek into Elowen’s past with a short, intimate teaser that sets the stage for everything to come:
- Forbidden feelings
- A stolen moment in the dark
- The watch bell ringing before it’s too late
This isn’t just a love story. It’s about longing, choice, and the weight of a faith that doesn’t leave room for desire.
