Hi OrangeTiramisu,
I just finished writing "Ruin and Redemption", the sequel to "Reckless Lives". Please let me know when you're finished with "Daniel Kirsch's Diary" It's still one of my favorites on wattpad.

OrangeTiramisu

@KatherineElizabeth Hi Katherine! I know I have failed you before, but I'm working on Daniel Kirsch's Diary again after a long time. Starting to get back on my feet. And yes I miss Lizzie and Michael from Reckless Lives and will definitely go back to reading them! Your work has very rich cultural and historical background.
Aside from writing and our stories, I hope you're doing well.

When I do a critique, I do it OBJECTIVELY; I see faults, I address them objectively. I don't crush the writers by telling or even insinuating, "Hey this is crap! Why do you write crap? It doesn't fit my standards. Take it off."

Yep, that isn't anywhere near constructive criticism. I hate it when I see other people crush writers like that, especially those who are self-approached snobs wallowing in superiority complex and living up to it in a horrendously unsightly manner.

We all write here on Wattpad for fun and to improve on it--bashing is a mile away from being called "help."

@RayenThatChic Hi! Don't mention it! You're very welcome! (^^_) Doing critiques, for me is a win-win anyway. I get to help you and in the process, I get to learn more too! Plus, I enjoyed reading your work! Hopefully you found my advice helpful and you continue updating your story. :))

Oh and yeah, answering your question: Do I edit? Professionally, no. But I know a little about close reading and New Criticism so that's what aids me. (^^_)
