Okay so I know everyone hates M*neta. Obviously, there's a good reason to do so. However I need y'all to hear me out on something. During the BNHA movie after he helps his friends get through the vents, he's given a genuine compliment. Originally he was doing it for "his harem", but when he receives genuine appreciation he just MELTS. My theory (my hope) is that he just wants appreciation but doesn't know how else to get it.
